How can the servers have such high ping compared to other games?

What percentage of the playerbase has stated that they would prefer a performance patch rather than new content being released? And it's not only a software issue, hardware is a main issue here as well.

It's just not very smart to pour your money into a game that doesn't work.

I think the population cap is helping.

ESO is currently very busy. Everyone is taking part in the 5 years event and a lot of new players joined recently.

I just hope that adding new servers will help with the not working group finder and slow guild store in the evening EU prime time.

Most people play this game casually and alone, walking around questing and doing the occasional random normal. They are probably perfectly happy with a game full of content, with more content coming.

It really does come down to your internet most times

You know this never works, right? ZOS says "Crown Sale" and suddenly you find yourself standing alone in an empty room surrounded by abandoned "Boycott ZOS" signs.

no thanks; I get the frustration and anger but a fix is on the way within a timeline of wks instead of years. As for me I will adjust my playtimes to lower attendance hours especially since new Hardware is being adding across all platforms. The pc-eu and na-console being the primary focuses; taking the threads of performance problems into account those seem to be the worse problem areas.

I see it as a small problem that someone somewhere in ESO/ZOS decided to delay upgrading servers till the problem became so bad with population increasing so much more than expected.

ZoS has a great game that is actually growing by leaps and bounds maybe someone has seen the potential of really strong growth if the Servers are upgraded to point of handling the growth of a truly great game.

I for one will stick around and give ZoS the time they need especially since I am PC-NA game runs great for me although I feel for Console and EU players and am crossing my fingers for you folks.

This.... I have hardly ever had any issues with eso at all.... and I think it must be down to my super duper (but very expensive) internet....
