cradle of shadows normal mode too many gimmicky 1 shot mechanics

    Oh my, they nerfed it and it was one of the easiest DLC dungs even before nerfs.. I mean vSCP, vMHK, vFL etc -> you need some good stats to complete that without being carried, meanwhile vCoS is doable with bunch of cp300 just fine, just google mechanics and follow them.

    Although a single one shot in nCoS is nothing in comparison to Vet, I don't thing the one shot in Normal adds much. Players do them for the story and some for a minor enjoyable challenge. I run Vet Hardmodes. I run them for the added challenge that it's much harder to survive. As annoying as one shots are, they are coupled with higher damage attacks that can 2 shot someone in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's more believable. In a normal you can't even practice the roll mechanic because if the group is having that much difficulty because they are new, they might not even be able to rez. You only get practice in if the group wipes and the fight resets or you have someone explaining the mechanics well enough that you time them correctly. At least if you survive the Normal version but recieve heavy damage, the next time the boss sets up for it, you have the oppertunity to react while it's still fresh in your mind.

    It's all practice.

    I’ve said this in a million other dungeon complaint threads ... so read carefully:

    If you have specific goals in mind for a dungeon, you don’t use the dungeon finder. Period. Find some friends or guildies for a pre-made group.

    Specific goals could be just finishing the dungeon in Cradle of Shadows.

    Calling the dungeon bad design, when one or more teammates don’t know the mechanics, is simply not true at all. Especially when many players have a hard mode clear.

    and no its not difficult,its just poorly designed, and poorly implemented, i play games way more challenging and demanding like ffxiv which has those kinds of mechanics for every single boss, they just telegraph them better, and design the fights better. ESO is a stumbling mess when it comes to boss fights, and for normal mode dungeon its awful experience. my feed back was for normal mode, as a casual player who rarely does dungeons, cradle is a fing nightmare trying to get randoms to learn/understand mechanism well enough to beat it

    You seem to be contradicting yourself, is the issue “gimmicky boss fights” or “randoms who can’t do basic mechanics”?
