Except that every single player has paid for the game and ESO+ is in no way a justification for a VIP status. Crown store items, DLC and chapters earn ZOS money as well and permanently subscribed players don't even buy DLCs while nonsubscribers or occasional subscribers do.

I'd vote Squirrels if there was such option. This poll is so dumb that all the faction lock polls pale with envy. Who takes it seriously?

Every now and again some "genius" comes with a "novel" suggestion for ZOS how to cash in on defective game features. They don't need advice in that department, not even actual "good" advice, much less ridiculous cess like this one.

I don't think they should sell the right to play the game any more than they already did. By, well, selling the game.

On another hand, I would rather have them prioritize players who were already logged in during previous five or ten minutes. Because oh what fun it is when you're kicked to login screen during a trial or dungeon run.

Ship has a breach and we are arguing over the lifeboats. That's not the issue here and you know it. The issue is why did this company have to wait for so long until they had no other choice. The server performance issue has been a meme in the community with countless warnings and complaints and even after expecting a large wave of new players, due to the new expansion, they did absolutely nothing to fix it except from minor patches or workarounds. I am not blaming the people that work for this company and struggle to fit 2 feet in the same shoe. I am blaming those that consciously made the decision of putting profit over quality. You can have both but clearly that's not their goal here.
So I will NOT make this an excuse for them to make this game a p2w mess by prioritising login based on subs. If this happens then that would be the reason I cancel my sub.

I'm ESO+ and I'm on NA server. Still, I find the problems players are suffering with on the EU server appalling.

Look: there should be NO ISSUES no matter what pay structure you play under. Lets set aside these privileged notions and get to the heart of the matter. ESO needs to fix the ***. Period.

If it is truly due to an influx of new players

"Recently, we’ve seen a massive influx of players to ESO especially on the PC-EU server. This influx of players has resulted in some server performance issues for our players on the PC-EU megaserver, especially during prime-time hours."

thats just a *** excuse you'd make when you have no idea how to fix performance or want to invest into server upgrades.

I mean, we're already not. Subscribers get a lot of benefits that non-subs do not. It's nice not having to play Storage simulator thanks to the double bank space, craft bag, double transmute stones. You know what, I even benefit from the exp bonus when grinding a new alt. All of these things will certainly come in handy when the Necro drops.
If you think we're equal now then you're way off buddy.

These are all things that don't affect other players. Who cares how much bank space I have? I pay the subscription to make playing a bit more comfortable for me, but not at the expense of others.

Instead give priority to NON ESO+ players!
ESO+ subscriber already pay, even if they can't play, so what's the point? Let NON ESO+ player play to fill up their bank and bag, so they may become subscriber!
by the way, selling 1000 crowns tickets to get up in the queue should be even more profitable!

Everyone had paid to play this game. It is called B2P for a reason. To suggest someone who bought all the DLCs should have limited access compared to someone who rents the DLCs could be a slipper slope to legal troubles.

I say that as someone who has always played this game as a sub. It is just a logical thought that puts it into perspective.

Queue happens at earlier stage, during login to server, not on character selection screen. So it doesn't matter how many times you're switching characters since you're not logging out during the process.

And I'd say people will have shorter queues outside of prime time. Wait for the evening when everyone's going to be doing their dailies. ^^

Absolutely not. Everyone has paid for the game, ESO+ is not some VIP club. Plus with the queueing being a new thing it has never been part of the ESO+ offer. Essentially using priority in the queue to promote ESO+ sales would just be utterly crass on the part of ZOS.

Daedric Santie sits on one shoulder and says of course yes - these are the travellers who offer support, who have probably been around a while, who are likely to be here tomorrow. Also of course this one would like a quick log in herself.

Slightly less daedric Santie on the other shoulder says no no. Not fair on the little new travellers who have just begun their journey and were enjoying it before all of this. This one does not wish to be cruel to the new kittens and put them off.

So in conclusion Khajiit thinks the login queue is horrible for everyone and hopes the server gets the swift and effective medical treatment it requires.

Sure, why not. I am NOT an ESO+ Subscriber, the NA Queue is pretty short maybe an extra 30 seconds to a minute at most. How bad is it on EU?

I waited 20 minutes last night out of my available 1hr gaming time. Not good.

If it's the same tonight then I think that a break may be in order.

As to what many have said; Especially about all players being equal, You buy the game whether you have a subscription or not should be allowed to play the game you bought. Non-Subscribers Should have the same rights as someone with ESO+, Just because you sub doesn't mean you should be given Priority. Especially if someone has not much to little time to actually play the game.
