It's a PvP zone, so you should know the risks. I personally enjoy the feeling of danger in IC when I go there. And I never get salty if I get ganked there.
I was killed at bosses, on arena, etc. No hard feelings at all (maybe because I never carry more than 5k telvar, who knows ).

Be ready for attacks. Usually gankers are squishy. Once my Sorc was jumped by a NB while questing in pve gear...and that NB got quickly roasted till golden crust with my ulti prepared in advance just for such cases.

Also...try some ganking too, preferably with friends ( it's more fun that way). After you understand "the dark side" it might start looking less dark for you

I was once killed at least 10 times in a row in IC by the same 2 players, when I needed to do a crafting writ.
They abandoned before me and I did my writ, but you must really be dumb to kill the same player again and again because after a few kills it gives you 0 AP/TV.

For me it was to get a Xivkyn runebox skin- but I’m getting my TV stones from daily rewards and with people selling the runeboxes in guild trader there’s absolutely zero reason to go back there.

Edit: buying a soul-shriv skin off guild traders was the best thing I ever did

Someone posted a suggestion in a thread about farming Tel Var stones-- that you can queue up for a different campaign as a guest, and when you accept it you'll be back at your alliance's home base. I haven't tried that yet, but I've got some master writs that will take me into the IC again, so I might try it tonight.

That’s my standard egress from IC; queue for other campaign. Even if I’m safe.

You can also buy a portal stone I forgot what they cost...

Yep I ran into a pvp’er in a dungeon when collecting skyshards I jumped in and helped him kill the boss he then proceeded to try and kill before I got the skyshard.... lol it didn’t end well for him...;)

Meanwhile,

The other day me and three other guildies from my EP PvP guild were in IC. We were going through the sewers and we saw one, lone AD player with only 300ish CP fighting some mobs. When he saw us he raised his shield and didn't attack us...

And so we didn't attack him. Let him go about his merry way because our guild's #1 rule is, literally, "Don't be a D**k."

Not everyone who does PvP are jerks.

ROFL. this is what I get for defending spiders in a middle of the night :P typos galore! but seriously. spiders are awesome. they creep me out inside the house, but they are still awesome. even inside the house, they eat bugs that are bad.

you know who the spider would be in this whole pvp comparison? a ganker that ganks the gankers. waiting patiently, protecting people just doing their things, attacking the gankers when they try to ruin someone's day. THOSE are spiders.

Yeah happens quite a lot with me once saw below 100 cpish DC player running almost near our AD base so just waved at him ....he loled and went away and same with couple of eps they were doing arena quest so I as a dc joined them in doing quest after that we went our separate ways.Point is most pvp players are complete *** that's the reason everyone hates pvp in this game and off all if one is not attacking you or capping any flag then there is no reason being a dik and pouncing on him.

PvP is part of the game. It is quite evident when you go to certain zones. Expect an enemy around every corner, no one has to be nice to you, when they are on the opposing faction.

Just cause some people want to hold hands and cuddle with everyone doesn't mean your enemies have to do it.
