So it appears based on this poll that only the minority are in favour of Faction Locking.

A small sample of players maybe, but it can be made on the assumption also that the silent majority are happy with how things are presently.

Yes Love the Idea. Make it so you can only enter on one Alliance!
Well, given that there were essentially 2 options for No, and only 1 for Yes, the results are pretty skewed.
Having a second 'Yes' swaying option would make the poll at least viable.
You also shouldn't have stated your own opinion in your poll.

As it stand there is only an 8% difference between Yes + No, and that's with No having 2 options.
The many people advocating for this are not just going to disappear,I think it's going to be a case of suck it up and deal with it, at least temporarily. We have dealt with faction hoppers for years now, time to try a different approach.

I also make the assumption that there are A LOT more players in favor of faction locking, who are not on the forums. This I base on my PS4 experience.

Make it so you can Login to the campagin but only be placed on the leaderboard for one faction.

Really? Do you think people are so stupid that they get all confused if only 1 out of the 3 options is an unequivocal "yes"? It's not random choice you know.

Ok let me get this straight... majority of people don't want faction locks because there is a 33% chance that it will be them that is stuck on the most populated faction?

If you're an EP and you know AoTPs raid schedule then when you play on those days that 33% turns into 100% friend. This seems like a far-fetched example but for some it's relevant and litteraly the case.

The poll is not a good indication of what people think. Forum polls are never more than entertainment value and that is when they are written well.

Not the best objective poll options... u can’t put in subjective comments after each and expect a sound result

I don't "Love" the idea myself, but yeah I supported faction locking... so I had to vote for the first option else I'd be lying.

But I personally feel iffy about the way they chose to implement it though, as it seems it'll be way too restrictive.

I feel they could have been gone about it in a different way and still manage to accomplish the same objectives, if indeed as it was said, the objective was to spread people around to the different campaigns.

In any case, there should be an opt out option for those wanting to swap alliance or so I heard, so if they chose the wrong one at the start they can always rectify... so I do hope the option to un-home is present and that it doesn't cost actual AP currency to use, just losing your earned AP for leader board position and end of campaign rewards is a hard enough punishment already IMO.
