While that's a fantastic idea, OP, it doesn't necessarily apply to ESO's world. In PVE- all the overworld, trial, dungeon, and arena content is mixed with members of all three alliances. So- if AD were to win the campaign and "make a wish" (I'm guessing it would add a buff) that effected only AD people in PVE- then we'd have trial groups running with only about 1/3 of their members receiving that buff.

I like that idea, though. I wish there was a way to implement it. Then, maybe, PVP and PVE players would actually stop squabbling. ;)

True that. I really don't think most of it would work in ESO. I can't imagine people grinding in Alik'r would be too happy when enemy players run rampant and kill them all, then move onto Bangkorai and kill all the NPCs, and so on. You could essentially do that in the game I was talking about... I remember people complaining because all the quest givers were dead lmao
There doesn't even need to be alliance rewards. Just looking for something, anything, to spice up Cyrodiil and give me a reason to keep going back. I still love PvP here, but it's just getting a little stale.

Honestly, I think ZOS realizes that Cyrodiil is getting stale. As these forums have pointed out... the campaign means nothing to a lot of people these days. So ZOS has implemented these new weapons... which I think will spice it up a bit (especially if you ever get your hands on one).

But I think, for long-term sake, ZOS might want to branch out and open a new "chapter" of PVP. A new zone for AVA (much like Imperial City). I've suggested opening up Solestheim as an open-world PVE/PVP area. Maybe I'll ping the forums again with the suggestion.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

Zos is adding changes and new things to ESO PvP. Some of them controversial others not so much but it is certainly going to shake things up. Hopefully for the better. :)

It is never a good idea to try and make this game into another. ESO has it's own flavor and despite all the complaints, it has been a very successful one with constant new content unlike any other game I have played. The community, my friends, and guildies also make it the best experience.

Ah yes, this daedric artifact. Another one of ZOS's lazy solutions to the boredom problem. We needed more to do in Cyrodiil, so they stuck flags in towns. We wanted more out of IC. Yep, more flags. Now we're getting a weapon that boosts the stats of the unfortunate soul who picks it up. It just seems like one half-assed idea after the next. At this point it feels like PvP are the toddlers crying because they want improvements, and ZOS is the lazy parent throwing cheap toys into our playpen to shut us up.
I absolutely love the idea of a Solstheim PvP area by the way. Haven't even heard the sales pitch and I'm already sold xD

As far as I understand it they are just adding a weapon that spawns at random (closer to the losing factions area). This will just paint a massive bullseye on the back of whoever picks it up. I'll wait until it's actually released before I have a full opinion, of course.
I remember when they were first talking about the capturable towns, and everyone was like "Aww yeah, there's gonna be some sweet smallscale around Cyro baby yeah!". We did not get that, at all. For the first time in a while I found someone at a town this morning, but unfortunately it was an AD zerg running by with our scroll.

And nah, I don't want PvP to be a duplicate copy of the game in the OP. Sure it'd be nice, but it's impossible. it was merely a story to explain how I felt about it, and why I did, to help them better understand me, someone has been participating in PvP for a large part of his life

I'd rather stab myself in the eye, but I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless! Maybe it's time for another break. Took a 6 month hiatus a while ago and it felt pretty good tbh.

war is hard and takes its toll on all of us, its for us to seek meaning within the fight but simply just to fight until we die, then res then die, then res then die, then res then die, then res then die, then res then die, then res then die, then res then die.

I don’t think it’s coincidence that the game takes the Ouroboros as it’s symbol. In the end of the book The Worm Ouroboros the heroes realize that their lives have little meaning once their enemies are defeated. They wish their enemies could all be alive again and they could fight them all over and their wish is granted.

The point of PvP is to kill people, read hate tells. Tbag people you don’t like. Read some more hate tells. Turn in a few quests. Write some hate tells. Eat some food. Kill people. Then, read some...uh... hate tells. OH, and to try not to die while doing it!

Yeah, I used to enjoy the whispers. But even when I get called a virgin jew these days I don't even crack a smile. I think I'm broken.

For me the point of PvP is PvP, I don't need any incentive, what I need is lagfree environment, that's all.

I don't know, incentive makes it sound like I'm expecting a juicy fat reward. I think I just want more mechanics involved in PvP - give me something new to do instead of running the same old inside ring around Cyrodiil

Yeah I get you and understand you, I'm not against but TBH in the end all I care is having some action ;)
