Apparently I seem to be pretty alone in knowing that magblades dont have to stand still and take it when faced with a dk. Atleast in those nightblade threads no one seems to know this.

Holding down on D pad and moving right thumb stick (Xbox) allows you to zoom right out.

Helps with situational awareness, especially VMA.

I didn’t know this for a longtime. And quite a few I have interacted in the game with didn’t either.

i saw login queue screen once. It was right after entering password. Didn't have a time to make screen, it was like 2 seconds. Saw it only one since 2015.

Light attacks don't restore resources though, they have no interaction with off balance. It's only fully charged heavies that give resources back, and any heavy attack (doesn't have to be fully charged) that stuns if your target is off balance (talking about pvp).

You don't have to use the best possible build at all times if you don't enjoy it.

For the majority of content it really doesn't matter, especially on a max level character using CP so there's no need to force yourself to stick with something you don't enjoy.

I know a huge secret on pvp build.. the one that you encounter that hits you like a truck always, like a glass cannon build, but without the glass.. so it is also defensively OP. The one many always wonder what sets are being used. Yes, that build.

But i just did meet myself who came from the future with a time machine, telling me i made a huge mistake by publishing that build because pvp went all crazy.

So now i cannot say it.

- In PvE any damage you cause to mobs (for example from long duration ground AOE effects) will break your own cloak. In PvP this is not the case.

- Heavy attacks from non-staves only restore stamina, even if you run a melee magicka build.

Something it seems a lot of people on this forum don't know: if you don't like a topic on a forum, but it's not actually against the rules so you can't report it and get it locked the best way to make it disappear is to avoid posting in it and instead post in the topics which do meet with your approval so those get bumped up and the one you don't like gets pushed down.

This one comes in several parts......

If you are not playing much and building up the login exp boost cache it caps at 4.8 Million...

All master writs give the same XP gain, whether 2 vouchers or 200.

We get grand XP scrolls as part of the login rewards.

You can make the requirements for the writs without first consuming the writs.

So....

Save the Alchemy, Enchanting and Provisioning writs for when you are near the login cap.

Make the items for each writ go down to the vendor and consume the XP scroll.

Learn the writ, hand in the writ, rinse and repeat.

You can quite easily consume a big chunk of the login exp bank. Even easier if an event is on as that XP buff stacks too.

You gain less CP levels when higher but the most I got from one run after not playing for a while was 7CP, I think I netted 4.1M exp....

20 minutes to make the requirements and about 5 minutes to hand them in, then even longer for the on-screen notifications to clear...... still had 55 minutes left on the XP scroll so actually did a bit content as well.

Tab targeting is a legit wallhack that lets you keep track of a single target even if you lose line of sight (if using a controller with default controls just hold R3 while your crosshairs are on the target). In PvE the wallhack aspect of tab targeting is useful for trespassing and assassinations. In PvP it lets you keep track of people doing cardio in resource towers, bridge/gate trolls that think they're hidden, and specific targets in a group that you want to focus down (healer, etc.). If you feel like you are being targeted a bit too much in a group setting you might be tab targeted by your opponents and even if you dislike stealth simply crouching down for a bit. This will clear the tab target on you even if multiple people have you targeted.

I knew I might of messed up something with that explanation as such was hoping someone would correct me. Though as I was saying, yes there's a very little know fact that heavy attacks will give double resources back (then the usual return from heavy attacks) when target is off balanced.

Inverse kinematics builds a jacobian matrix out of the transformation matrices from your character's root node to each rig handle in order to solve a minimization problem (L2 distance between IK marker and rig handle) using gradient descent. Since the derivative w/respect to transformation is always 0 (no rubber bones) the only gradients are from rotational DOFs. Setting foot IK in options solves this problem (theoretically, if they are, in fact, using IK and not some other minimization process) to keep your feet from breaching into/floating over the terrain.

tl/dr; your toon can do more complex math than you can.

Keep using D-Pad Left and it will go to max if applicable, eg when removing gold from your bank

Keep using D-Pad Right and it will zero the amount letting you put in your own without adjusting, useful when selling.

1) accepting AP from daily rewards on a toon under level 10 gives them the ability to get Rapids without going to Cyrodiil

2) sending 1 gold with a mail makes it pop immediately and bypasses the need to rezone

3) if you don’t have enough gold on hand to pay for an outfit station change you designed, you don’t have to lose your look, you can select to buy token, then exit the crown store, summon your banker, withdraw gold, then interact with the station again and it remembers where you left off without making you start over.
