How big is the difference between 400 and 810 CP?

I am wondering this, I see people pull 49-51k on selfbuffed dummy tests where I reach around 37-40k using the same gear on my 420 CP Character. Anyone tested how big the impact is? Would love to know if my dps is considered good or not for the CP I am at! :) Playing a magpetsorc (Necro+MS without maelstrom staff sadly).

That’s good for a pet sorc I believe. Even good kids have trouble breaking 45 self buffed with them. -fact check needed

Running a script I made for my magplar I get a 14% gain going from 420 to 810 CP.

Asayre's CP optimizer with the defaults gives a 17% gain in "Function value".

    I don't hit 37k with my 810 CP, so I'd say it's pretty good.

I've never run a petsorc but I started to feel less of an increase in power from CP at about where you are. I'm 580ish now and wait to allocate at 10cp intervals and it's not really increasing noticably. That said, I invested in dmg cp's first and have been filling in the rest.

At 420 cp you should be hitting 45k with full gold gear and ele susceptibility on dummy. I believe you are missing ele susceptibility.
On-topic: The amount of difference between 400 and 810 cp is about 18%.
