Yes, I read what you stated and it was very clear.. You may think you did not suggest it, but there is no question that your suggestion about compensation is a suggestion that Zos should consider postponing maintenance such as what NA experienced this weekend.
It is a very clear notion in business that if there is a cost to doing something they look at reducing the costs.
Edit: and as I said, I would rather Zos focus on maintenance when it is needed rather than have to consider the costs of compensation.
uhhh.... what? @idk
do you really need to turn this into an argument so much that you're just making up nonsense and pretending that i said it so that you have something to disagree with?
Also, as i said in a previous post, ingame gold and crafting materials have no value. they're digital rescources in a video game, ZOS stands to lose nothing.
people will come up with any reason to say you're wrong in this community, though. that's what i've come to notice over the years...need to disagree for the sake of disagreeing
You're wrong.

And you are so very right.
Hmm. 45min maint. + compensation...
That be what, $0.004 of a cent in subscription time. Hell. Not even worth 6gold coins in game.
Seems a bit much for something that is already stated that could happen in the ToS.
I am suggesting that, after maintenance, all players be compensated with a small amount of ingame gold or crafting rescources, potentially even crowns. This is a practice a few "live service" games are adopting, particularly when the maintenance was unexpected, unplanned or came without warning. With the amount of complaints about maintenance taking so long (see: this thread) it seems like a no brainer solution to at least appease some players upset over this "issue".
personally, I like free stuff. pretty wild concept I know.
