Houses: Erstwhile Sanctuary as actual Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, Hunter's Glade as werewolf tavern (downstairs), Strident Springs Demesne as adventurer's house.
Wishlist: Hildegard and Kor (jan 30-feb 3), attunable stations (have 27/80 sets collected), molten war torte and white gold war torte recipes.

✭I know this is a fantasy world and all... But that Alik'r cactus still rubs me the wrong way. Did so when it was first introduced, and feels just as wrong today too. Alik'r has quite blatant 1001 nights Arabian fantasy thematic going in it's visual design, with a dose of Egyptian iconography thrown into the mix, and that cactus thing just does not fit in with all that.
The thing is, that in our world, they only show up on the American continents, with the exception of one species that is also found in middle region of the Africa and Sri Lanka of all places. As such, it just feels wrong with the middle-eastern wibe of the Alik'r desert.
But what ev... It is a fantasy world and all, so I suppose that cacti can be a thing in Alik'r, but still, I wont buy any since they rub me the wrong way. And being prickly little buggers, rubbing them is a painful proposition as is.
Also, yet another disappointing week. And there are, based on data mining, several more useless and uninteresting weeks to look forward to, with little incentive to spend any time on Homestead content.
I know that ZOS wont give a rat's ass about this issue, but the support for housing is way too inadequate. The luxury vendor thing is already a PITA as is, with lot of stuff locked behind a yearly cycle that discourages people from getting into decorating their homes, but the rate of introducing new stuff is way too slow. I'm sure every week some players will find some use for the 1 new thing they add, but most weeks most of us will not. And with a huge backlog of frequently asked for assets not showing up, makes the whole thing all the more aggravating.
Like give us those bloody planters already! And how about some musical instruments?!?! I want the harp that was added in Summerset and the Guzheng/Koto look-a-like string thing was added in Morrowind!!! I'm tired of looking at place holders for them in my primary residence! As I am for the stupid through I have as a place holder for a planter. But what ev... Even though I log on almost every day, I don't think I've visited any of my homes for couple of weeks now... There are so many other plants in game already that aren't purchasable, why the heck do we need a re-skinned fern that looks almost exactly like others available for minimal gold?

Yep - I said it last year, of all the beautiful plants in the game they go for a near duplicate of a crappy fern.1 -

Well, think Arabs invading South America instead of Europeans, and not just a few marauders, but all of them.
The Redguard are a comparatively recent arrival in Tamriel, they brought that arabian nights flair with them, and never had to adapt to the culture of elven overlords. Back in Yokuda, the future Redguard culture may very well have come into being without the influence of cacti.
