I also have characters on all three alliances that play on the map - they've killed me so many times there's no doubt that just by myself I've helped them earn at least one star on each of their characters...

But i also want to mention another one who was a cool dude from EP who quit from ESO already i think, Cursa. A really nice guy despite being an EP

Couldn’t name one. Then I read the thread.

Sleeps on Bridges is a good candidate for foamous enough to transcend our little eso bubble.

My guild leader is pretty famous to me. MissBizz and Nestor. Though I suppose any streamer with a guild would qualify.

The only image that I have now is a bunch of AMATUER cyclists, now finished their daily group run of blocking the smallest road in the area for the longest amount of time; now they have their $8000 pushies blocking the footpath outside YOUR local cafe while inside, they hobble about on cleats in their sweaty, smelly lycra, jive-talkin' about how good they all are and ending every sentence with "I'll let you win next time".

If you aren't a Guild Leader with an enemy list, you CONTROL nothing....

Most famous pvper was probably Fasold (magsorc), at least you saw his name most often in AD zone chat. Zergleaders were firmly convinced he was using shield macros.
Anyway he quit before I did, so newer players probably won't know him.

There's also a ton of players who were very well known, not for their skill, but for the drama they were always involved in. These included Blobs, Legendary Mage, Shey and Kasa.
Some of them were really nice people though.

Then there's the one and only zergleader: BIGBOSS.
Loved that guy, he made us (AD) win every campaign.

In pve the only famous that comes to mind is andy.s, the dude who did all those speedruns and no deaths in vma when it was still hard. He held all the world records at one point. Think he's also in Hodor, not sure though.

Other than that there's Alcast, but he's mostly famous for being a youtuber and being a member of Hodor.

I met Kasa from a mutual contact for a dungeon run, and she was honestly the most skilled/helpful/open minded people I ever met in game, we talked a little in discord and she gave me a lot of advice for sorcerer, she was truly inspiring, and at the time, it gave me a boost of motivation and confidence in my build choices.
I learned about all the drama after that.

Maybe not exactly famous but I love the guys advertising werewolf/vampire bites in the Rift on PC EU. I have shouting matches with them sometime. "Fresh werewolf bites, come get them while they're fresh! Only 19 999! Limited offer!"
