Risk of losing items?

So there's been talk going around in-game that certain actions (like banking) can actually make you lose items, is this true? If it is, under what circumstances? I have to bank some stuff but I don't wanna lose anything so I'm just running around with almost full inventories... but it's driving me insane so... What's te risk this patch?

yes, but under certain conditions. And often if you wait.. it'll pop up.

I tend to use only Bankers that do not move. When they move, they cancel what your doing, and if you put something into bank personal or guild. It has habit of going poof if timed right.

If you throw item in, and cancel out of menu real quick, can cause it happen.. thou fairly rare.

Guild Banks in general, its best to count to 3, and check item counter.
So if your putting something in, lets say its at 316. Make sure you see it click to 317 before trying do something or leave menu.

In general... don't "rush" and your fine.

I believe the problem we had with Update 21 on PC was if you sent mail to someone who had not logged in yet since the update. Any attachments were lost and unrecoverable.

They were migrating accounts to a new system. Maybe they got overwritten by the migration, or they simply got dropped because the recipient wasn't on the new system yet. It could have been any number of things.

Since yesterday's patch my entire inventory is missing from my main character, although it does show the correct amount of gold

i haven't had time to check the other 6 characters but I am hoping this is a glitch which will adjust itself tomorrow morning

I thought the recent glitch was linked to addons not working and needing to disable those addons in order to see your inventory? because I have no addons and have no problem with my bank
