Login Failed - PC/NA and PC/EU (since 1:03pm EST)

Tried several times in the past few minutes since about 4:03pm EST - keep getting a Login Error message: Login failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. ... (etc.)
Not using Steam. PC/NA, and I'm located on the west coast of Canada, if geographic location is of any use to others.
Oddly enough, if I press F to check on my account status, my login works flawlessly...?
Update: different error at 4:12pm EST: Login timeout - try again. (Still timing out at 4:21pm EST)
Update: Apparently EU megaserver is also affected: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/462288/issues-login
Update: eventually able to login at 1:25pm EST. Apparently you have to just keep trying and it might eventually work.

rbullis✭✭I am getting the same error...I was in game and just froze. Upon resetting the game to log back in I am having the same issues. NA Server! Wife's account can login just fine. She was not in game at the time I froze.0

✭My wife is getting errors about her password. She also can't log into the forum now to post anything.
She was having issues, repaired client and was able to log in, but got booted when switching characters. Now she can't get back in at all.0
