Launcher freeze

On PC, after today's mainteinance, my launcher freezes after downloading 12% of the game.
My internet connection is fine (tried with other games) and I've already deleted the folder in the program files but nothing worked
So, how to solve this?

Ok, I solved using the VPN Windscribe but it's absurd that we need to use a *** VPN to download the patches!

Game working now, I try repairing it and it did to a certain point then the launcher just freeze. I relaunch the game again and now it works. Very strange.

My launcher is doing the same thing after the patch last night. I open the launcher and it got to 9% and then completely freezes after half a second. It stays frozen on the screen until ultimately closing.

This couldn't be related to the exact same 'Launcher freezing' issue that's been occurring since approximately September of last year, could it?

The issue that Zenimax claims is an ISP problem.

I wonder how it feels to be the only company to have their files 'blocked' by internet providers. I don't expect it to ever be fixed, but I really hope they come up with a better resolution than just using a VPN.
