...not help your alliance mates and point them out to enemies by light attacking in their direction when they are in stealth?

let me update the circumstance

---

• Went to Imp city to farm some tel var as a yellow.
• stumbled upon a low level blue...didn't attack because, yeap, i'm that nice guy.
• warned in chat, "hey, blue nb spotted in elven.
• found 2 yellows attacking a boss.
• started attacking boss.
• 2 yellows move away from me and blue nb lands some blows.
• combined with boss attacks im, down. (for mr. l2p = i solo bosses often, calm down.)
• blue nb goes away, 2 yellows don't even revive after.
• i respawn, farm some bosses catch up to my yellow buddies, but this time knowing they have a friend, i am ultra careful, boss dead, yellows proceed to follow me light attacking in my direction as i cloak out to get away.
• blue nb reveals himself, i just elude and make it to a safe stoop to warp back and deposit.

I had someone invite me to trade to bring me out of stealth so his buddy could gank me.
To be fair I did laugh as I thought it was clever and hadn't seen that trick before.

Heck no. I, however, light attack in the direction I saw an enemy so my allies are aware.

You can do whatever you want in pvp. If you are a useless cloaker which is fearful of some battle, i would point you in any occasion

I woudn't call that toxic.

I would either call that treachery or espionage. Both are part of every war. It would be nice if we could punish traitors somehow. Fortunately it happens so rarely that I don't think this should be developers primary concern.

Depends. Is it a filthy cloak-spamming Snipe exploiter? Then yes, it’s justified — filthy cloak-spamming Snipe exploiters deserve to die always, alliance mates or not. Is it a full group in stealth planning to hit a keep? Then no.

If you're positioning ready for an opener, meh who cares.

It's a crappy move, but I think you need to do more than light attacking in some direction, to be consider "toxic". To me toxic means really verbally abusive or going out of your way to grief and ruin other peoples gaming experience.

Might be reason why someone dislikes a certain group or guild? Not all allies are nice to others. Maybe they actually deserved that light attack and loosing their stealth advantage, because being d-bags?

But how much does it even matter? You wont magically beat the enemy and change the map because you manage to hide in stealth a bit longer at one occasion. If you're heavily outnumbered you will lose either way.

Not to me it isn't.

It's probably a good thing I don't play as a stealth character. Because if someone did this to me they would be hearing my mouth.

That's a dilema for me. I'm Pact loyal 24/7 but hate snipe exploiters. In particular now it IS an exploit

I wouldn't call it toxic and probably would get a warning if I typed what I want to call it. Instead I will go with cowardly.

The reason it is cowardly is because there is no consequence.

That aside not everybody in stealth is there to gank. Even if they are there to gank at least they are willing to take some risk. If they fail they die.

The real pieces of (insert bad word here) are the players working with the spotter.

So, you go in there and point at players that is in your alliance, so they can be killed by the enemy.
Well, your an epic traitor is what I'll say.
That player is hiding so they can ambush enemies.
Alliance vs alliance. Does that ring a bell.
Player vs player basically, but there are alliances.

When you play basketbl, do you pass to the opposing team and block your teams shot?
Is that what you do.

Well. You will not get “the most honorable pvper ever” award and it is kind of nasty behavior, but war is nasty business. I am just missing the opinion to kill the traitor

it can be tiresome to endure however since theres nothing you can do to stop such behaviour you might as well just ignore it as best you can

ive also had people standing on top of me /waving, /dancing, swinging melee LA's at me or simply standing on top of my position attacking the enemy knowing it will draw them to me
