Please allow my werewolf to hide his tail. And I don't like all the hair, so please let me hide his fur. Also, when I created my character, his nose wasn't as long as his snout is when he's in werewolf form. Can I get some makeup to hide his snout?
Actually, I want him to look like all the other players all the time, but still keep all the advantages of a werewolf.

not. even... remotely. the same.
you are NOT stuck in werewolf form permanently. until you hit your ultimate - you look EXACTLY THE SAME as players who are NOT weres.
Before anyone says it...covering the pale, veiny vampire face IS NOT lore breaking or anything to that affect. After-all, we're playing a game where we can equip skins to make our character's skin look like molten lava among other things. Why can't we have the OPTION (if you like the vamp look, knock yourself out) to hide the vampire graphic?

As one of half measures - Amber Plasm skin from RoM puts orange paint blotches on your face, but it somehow makes the pale effect disappear. So you can give it a shot.

Without us, you wouldn't have all this now.
Vampires are pale and winnowy looking in real life. If you don't like the look, go and get cured.

oookey.
hey, did you know that there is some sort of vampire like creature in just about every mythology in a world? and I do mean the world. the ONLY thing they have in common is drinking blood. there IS no unified "vampires are suppose to be like that " idea for vampires. and in ESO especially - there are so ... many... bloodlines that differ greatly, you cannot possible claim that "all vampire should function this way, and that's that" .
I mean... our specific player vampiric strain that descends directly from Lamae Bal doesn't even have sensitivity to sunlight. no burning in it, nothing. more powerful in a dark, but NOT weakened in a sun. THAT is official lore.
there is NOTHING in lore that says that player vampires HAVE to look ugly. its arbitrary. and negated by the fact that we can 1. wear skins and completely remove vampiric appearance effect - skins look exactly the same on vampires and non vampires
2. npc's do NOT react to player vampires in any negative way, they have no idea that player character in front of them is a vampire. and before you say anything about feeding - it constitutes an attack and reaction is exactly the same if you feed from an npc, vs stab them with a dagger. its NOT vampire specific.
STOP. USING. LORE. AS. EXCUSE. especialy when we have powerful vampires IN game that are able to hold glamour and hide their vampiric appearance entirely. and player vampires are supposed to be even MORE powerful, given that our vampirism is essentially undiluted - in order to become a full fledged vampire - every player (who didn't buy their vampirism from a crown store, but in terms of lore - its the same strain) has to be drained and refilled with Lamae's blood. every. single. one. to claim that player characters can't hold glamour is just laughable.
not even getting into completely uninformed opinions on what is and isn't possible with makeup.
ok i WILL get into it to a degree. properly applied foundation BLENDS INTO THE SKIN. you will not actualy see it becasue you are not supposed to see it. and here is something in lore that DOES support existence of foundation. facial tattoos. did you notice that they disappear if you use makeup facial markings? you can either have tattoos, or you can have lipstick and eyeshadow. not both. conclusion? makeup actively covers up tattoos, ergo we DO indeed have foundation type makeup in game.

this. im fine with pale, i just wanna see tattoos and makeup/paint. kinda ridiculous we're this far in and ZOS hasn't changed how vampires' skin works.
not. even... remotely. the same.

But the principle is the same, it's asking for something you can't have just because you want all the advantages but no the drawbacks.
"I play an orc for the passives, but why can't i look like a bosmer, that's so unfair !" For me it's the same thing ...

Stop trying to insinuate lore allows it. The vampires you are talking about are a different breed than the player ones. Therefore the comparison is invalid.

vampires I'm talking about are WEAKER then player ones. player vampires, us, are SCIONS of Lamae Bal. the description in lore of player vampires is that WE are that powerful. no weakness from sunlight, etc etc.
players looking like they do is arbitrary, and CONTRARY to the lore.

So basically you are saying player vampires, by your interpretation of the lore, should be as OP as an NPC diety.
Ya that will work in an MMO 😖
Guess I shoud greater than Molag Baal, after all I did defeat him.

The whole concept of fictional vampirism derived from a genuine real-life disease. Light-sensitive skin and all the rest. Blood-sucking, though, wasn't part of it.
ZOS listened! (kinda)
For anyone interested, Arctic Rime Skin from the new Crown crates (Epic Rewards - 40 crown gems) seems to do the trick for the most part. It doesn't work well on characters with darker complexion (Redguard), but for "white" characters it all but covers the vampire look.
Thank you for being reasonable and meeting us halfway ZOS.

I was only able to preview it quickly before I left home and I thought I noticed it hid vampire, but then I also noticed it might possibly make you look like the Twilight vampires? It doesn't sparkle like that does it?

1. there are already skins and armors that will hide the vampire skin so the lame argument of "in PVP we have to be able to tell who the vampires are" holds no water now and never did.
2. It is entirely lore appropriate for vampires to be able to visually blend among mortals. The game itself is FULL of such examples.
The fact that ZOS keeps ignoring this request for the past 5 years is inexcusable.
