My redguard stamden , both dps and sustain are very good , worth to buy this class .

What are you running? And what content? And normal DPS?

    https://alcasthq.com/eso-stamina-warden-build-pve/

    Standard meta build lol

    Veli + Relequen + AY

Here is the Liko video with same setup

Stamina Warden Rotation (63k+ on 6mil) with trial buffs

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQK-Y2_BSIM&t=62s

It’s true that stamwarden is in a good place for pve dps now (that hasn’t always been the case). It is just slightly behind stamblade now. In actual trials instead of a parse build, you will probably not be running the bear, so you won’t see that same execute damage, but other than that, the parse build is very usable in real situations.

That said, this build does not slot any of the tank and self-healing skills the OP was going on about. It’s a straight dps build.

Warden is probably the best 1vX class against bad players. Trees make it almost infinitely sustainable and the burst is badass. It's really easy to stalemate against good players though because the rotation is extremely predictable and if you can avoid the subassault hits then the burst is easily ruined. We also know it's easily one of, if not the, strongest group classes. That said a good warden should have zero issue or reason to complain in a 1v1.

The things that standout on warden imo:

    1) gaining minor protection along with major ward/resolve in the same buff. The rest of us have to slot the psijic ultimate to even get it on our backbars. Wardens get it all the time and can slot trees for even more survivability.

    2) minor berserk from slotting wings. idk why this was changed. they have enough damage as is.

    3) major protection (for nearby allies no less) during permafrost. getting the best defensive buff in the game while engaging an incredibly powerful circular AoE ultimate with snare and stun built in leaves very little counter play in the current meta. no other ult forces your opponent to go entirely on the defense for such an extended period of time.

Huge damage combined with loads of healing and buffs to increase armor. The survivability and access to major buffs on my Warden is unparalled to any other class I've played except maybe a Dragonknight even then the DK doesn't have a burst heal.

Wardens have burst heals, heals over time, free stamina/magicka return that costs nothing and grants you Major Brutality or Major Sorceror, a heal on light and heavy attacks that heal for 7k+ not even specced into healing passives and while active grant Major Savagery. Let's not forget the passive that Grant's Major Mending on healing under 25% health to keep you away from death.

Combine that with abilities on the defensive side that gives you Major Resolve, Major Ward coupled with Minor Protection, an ult that Grant's Major Protection and does tons of damage without even speccing into it. A skill that absorbs massive damage from projectiles and Grant's Major Heroism and a skill that has access to Major Endurance and increased Stamina Recovery.

In short the class is so loaded on sustain and survivalbility combined with heavy burst damage it's hard to play other classes.

I can 1vX in Cyro on a Warden getting hit by 5 people and still escape, the DK can do the same and has good survivalbility but still the burst heal from Wardens combined with massive sustain and heals over time make you so damn tanky while supplying tons of damage output.

Only class that can tank, heal and DPS without being particularly bad in any aspect.

Warden has ruined any hope of enjoying other classes, in your opinions what do other classes bring over the Warden? and what makes you play other classes over Warden while being disadvantaged to them?

I'm a magden and all I can do is shake my head..really? You might be talking about a stamden but a magden..huge damage? Tons of damage output? um ok..

I wish I could enjoy warden.

What they have is nice but they simply don't have enough magicka damage abilities - just 4. And a crazy amount of buffs.

I go from playing warden to any other class and I have options. Those extra 5-7 damage abilities that other classes have allow for multiple different builds and playstyles / experiences. So much more fun.

Sadly I'm going to have to abandon my wardens. All 9 of them. I can't stick with them just hoping that one day they'll be fixed. Cos that might not happen.

Warden is one teeny tiny step away from making this game p2w. If they were as good in pve as they are in pvp, ESO would officially be labelled pay to win. Their kit has literally everything...

I love my mag Warden. A lot of self-heal, self-buff, sustain and incredible 21K damage on the target skeleton!

I guess you just wait till necro comes out since that’s gonna be the new new p2w hotness. Personally I don’t mind being at a disadvantage playing other classes also aesthetic is important to me and I really dislike how some of wardens buffs look especially his ice abilities/vines.

I mainly play classes that fit some kind of theme. I've played the Nightblade for some time, running around as a thief only wielding one sword. This is the only class that can, somewhat, pull this of because of their abilities. I know I gimp myself playing this way, but for me the story and character is paramount for my enjoyment of the game.

    Anyway, back to the topic:
The Warden was the first class that gave me a pet class I enjoyed. I made a wood elf, made him short, fat, ugly and with a huge beard. He get's very crossed when called a dwarf, he is not a dwarf!

So, in summarum, whatever you want to play, is the best class. And ignore those who'd want to change your playstyle or class, just because it's not the most effective build. If I wanted to min/max, I would min/max.

Wardens are fun but I feel the same about sorc now. Finally made a tanky healer pet sorc and love.it. Twlight matriarch for burst heal/ heal spam if need and I spam hardened ward/ dampen magicka with elemental drain and daedric prey and my annoying maw of infernal pet. It's a pain to deal with for people in PVP and basically immortal in PVE. Only 1 bar build necropentence/ ebon jewelry / destruction staff. 1 bar builds with this and Werewolf / necromancer builds with Bone Colossus form will be great for new players or seasoned :)

This is now a Buff Sorc thread.

I'd rather fight wardens than sorcs = agreed!

Sorcs are meh... All I have to do is cast wings-->weakness to elenents---> firey grip--> fossilize--> then spam lava whip and that fire claw spell. The sorc was helpless.

Magden is awful in pve and non-group pvp. Lol. Tanks are okay and healers are good. And i don't play stamden. What is this post? If anything, other classes would ruin my enjoyment of warden. But they dont.

I recently rolled up a PvE Warden healer after exclusively having played Templar for healing.

I've been enjoying it a lot, I have a lot easier time with resources as a Warden. The thing I miss about Templar though is Breath of Life/Shards. Being able to BoL any time things are getting wild is still really strong.

I very much enjoy my dungeon healer and tank wardens, but there's one aspect of the game that they just don't even compare to. I like solo stealth stuff like the Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood solo quests, so not having the on-demand invisibility that comes with Nightblade is a big deal. I understand that with the buffs from different skills you can drastically reduce the size of your detection radius, but sometimes there's just a guy between you and your goal and there's no way around. And I don't like spending my alchemy mats on invisibility potions.

The one criticism I don't understand is about a magden's lack of damage skills. How many different damage skills do you want to slot in a single build? Magdens have a spammable (Birds), a long-running ground-based AoE (Winter's Revenge), a single-target DoT (Insects), and a cool signature skill (Shalks). Those plus Blockade are plenty, by the numbers. Now, you may think that Birds don't hit hard enough for their lack of additional pizazz, Winter's Revenge doesn't hit hard enough given the unlikelihood that trash mobs will "benefit" from the whole duration, or that single-target DoTs never quite justify their place in builds in general. I might even agree. But there's little wrong with the class that a simple increase in the numbers couldn't fix.
