How does one enjoy another class after playing as a Warden?

Huge damage combined with loads of healing and buffs to increase armor. The survivability and access to major buffs on my Warden is unparalled to any other class I've played except maybe a Dragonknight even then the DK doesn't have a burst heal.

Wardens have burst heals, heals over time, free stamina/magicka return that costs nothing and grants you Major Brutality or Major Sorceror, a heal on light and heavy attacks that heal for 7k+ not even specced into healing passives and while active grant Major Savagery. Let's not forget the passive that Grant's Major Mending on healing under 25% health to keep you away from death.

Combine that with abilities on the defensive side that gives you Major Resolve, Major Ward coupled with Minor Protection, an ult that Grant's Major Protection and does tons of damage without even speccing into it. A skill that absorbs massive damage from projectiles and Grant's Major Heroism and a skill that has access to Major Endurance and increased Stamina Recovery.

In short the class is so loaded on sustain and survivalbility combined with heavy burst damage it's hard to play other classes.

I can 1vX in Cyro on a Warden getting hit by 5 people and still escape, the DK can do the same and has good survivalbility but still the burst heal from Wardens combined with massive sustain and heals over time make you so damn tanky while supplying tons of damage output.

Only class that can tank, heal and DPS without being particularly bad in any aspect.

Warden has ruined any hope of enjoying other classes, in your opinions what do other classes bring over the Warden? and what makes you play other classes over Warden while being disadvantaged to them?

Warden skills look awful IMHO, and Warden skills have always been buggy for me. This has kept me from actively playing a Warden.

I don't feel disadvantaged to a Warden. Their burst is much more predictable and their control over the battlefield much more tenuous than any other class I play, and I can't remember the last 1v1 I lost to a Warden.

I would disagree that the other classes are at a disadvantage to Warden, as other classes have their own advantages over Warden.

I personally enjoy every other class in the game as much as I enjoy Warden. The only class I'm really iffy with is Templar because Templar can be boring at times to me. I prefer Dragonknight over Warden if we are to compare, I feel that Dragonknight has quite a sum of advantages over them as Wardens cannot reflect.
Welcome, Moon-and-Star, to this place where destiny is made.

I play healers or DPS often for vet dungeons and trials (NA, CP810+). I play mostly elves or Argonians.
I primarily play Damage-Based stuff in PvP, but occasionally I'll play something tanky or got the heals.
I also love gaining more knowledge both metaphysical and mundane regarding TES lore.

I also occasionally role-play, but I prefer playing the game.

I can. I realized afterwards I didn't have any points spent in my Class, Weapon, or Armor Passives. Oops.

Short answer is, each class brings something unique to the table. If the Warden really gels for you, there's nothing wrong with that. It's not the best class, but it may be the class you enjoy the most. At that point, have fun, it's your game, and the class can do it's job.

Wardens are a lot of fun to play, at least for me. Their versatility, nature theme and timing-based abilities make them feel truly distinct from the other classes. That said, magdens are in a bad way and have been for ages. I still enjoy playing mine, but the weakness is real.

Wardens have a good skill set, especially for PvP. If you can't enjoy what other classes have, I guess you're going to be playing Warden a lot.

Honestly, Warden has a ton of crap skills (especially for PvE). More than the other classes imho. Somehow the good skills must overcome this disadvantage.

As a Stam Warden I find the only ability I use is Shalks, while I agree that Warden has very few offensive abilities their power comes from building around weapon abilities with all the major buffs they have access too.

I don't know, I feel the same way about my Magblade.

    - Excellent self healing from casting my spammable direct damage ability.
    - More healing on light attacks from my resource management ability.
    - Excellent single target DoT with Major Expedition and a snare built in.
    - By slotting one of the above, I get 8% increased max Magicka. For each slotted, I get 3% increased healing done.
    - Minor Berserk built into my class burst ability.

Have not gotten the warden class yet but now you got me thinking of trying it out. I'd have to buy another character slot or delete a character.

I love this part of the warden but artic Wind and morhphs and the last skill in ice tree are really useless. The animals companion theme is great, but they excute the line is very ugly.

The warden was supposed to be one with nature type of class but the spamable sends the bird to it death, the damage and utilities of the move are kinda eh compaired to other moves and it also appears out of no where.

How pets work in this game I think fundamentally needs to change because pets still don't make it worth it to really dual bar slot. If pets took one bar slot and could stay up as long as it was slotted it one of the two bar it would be different.

The healing tree morphs are great and should not be touched except for louts, it's timer needs to be equal to Betty and ice fortress.

I think Wardens have this song playing over and over again in their head:

""Let me tell ya 'bout the birds and the bees
And the flowers and the trees""

I have not tried warden yet. Maybe I will so that I can understand the op better. I don't need 7 magblades?

Over all they aren't in a horrible spot, but they do need work just because the abilities don't synergize well with much, excluding the buff based abilities.

Magicka warden is the worst PvE class by a country mile.

They have a total of 4 DPS skills to choose from
    No utility skills
    Difficult rotation

Leveling a magwarden up now. From looking at abilities they look overpowered but as usual they can’t fit everything on their bar.

Having fun so far but I think nightblade will always be my main. Cloak and speed are too much fun. It’s just too bad they’re terrible in pvp right now.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

Warden’s burst heal is crap, vigor is better. Vines are crap, frost cloak not worth the slot for dps builds. Stam Sorc is even better for self heals as a dps than warden, and nightblade is similar with leeching strikes being analogous to lotus. I love stamwarden, but it is by no means OP. One look at the VMA leaderboards will tell you that.

EDIT: if you’re talking about magwarden, then I am very sorry. You willl find out very soon that far from being OP, magwarden is very UNDERpowered for PVE.
