I don't know what you call "many" runs.
I have at least three VO daggers in my bank, along with many swords and axes, plus many deconned maces.
The "poor looting system" is not to blame, people that demand accessibility are.0 -

I found that Advancing Yokeda items drop more frequently in normal mode Hel Ra than veteran, where the opposite is true: in veteran you'll get more Minor Slayer sets.
This is also true for golden jewelry, since it drops in veteran only, you'll more often get Vicious Ophidian, Infallibel Aether and Eternal Yokeda unless you do HM.
So if you farm AY, I think you'll be more lucky in normal.0 -

✭✭✭✭You can use any of the different types of dw weapons and get around the same DPS. Daggers are not so much better that you need to keep playing for them to the point you get sick of running the same stuff.0 -

I got one 2 weeks ago. Indeed, I have been doing the Craglorn vet trials for several months, but I wasn't really after the daggers, because I already have a full divines Vicious set, including gold jw. However, the Advancing Yokeda dagger is an other story
From my experience, no other stamina set is so well balanced and rewarding to play like the Vicious Ophidian. There are great sets like Relequen or War Machine, but this gives you so much sustain, also a speed buff, that you can use it all the time, so it is really worth the time to farm it. (also it is the best for vMA if you will ever try to do that)

I can't recall which is which, but basically the sets that you find in all 3 trials have higher droprate in veteran, while the sets you only find in specific trials have higher droprate on normal. Since VO drops in all trials the droprate for it is higher in vet. AY only drops in HRC so the droprate is higher in normal.0

Yes, you don't have a source of Major Fracture on a stamsorc so NMG is arguably the strongest possible set you can run in vMA.0
