No, not some in-game ability.
The Alliance War forum.
(A Fallout reference like "Alliance War forum never changes" was considered and dropped.)
You can go back and back to past pages for years or pop out here for a year or two and and come back, and it's the same things:
- ball groups
- overlooked errors/old bugs
- a few 1vX videos
- faction imbalance/faction swapping complaints
To be fair, the game has a lot to track with so many options and effects so lag is always going to be at least something of an issue, but Cyrodiil is stuck in some kind of Groundhog Day-esque loop. (Can we get Bill Murray to voice a new NPC for the zone? Some new NPC in a newly unlocked spot on the map? No really, that would be so fun...)
This isn't a dig at the devs. There's plenty of those and they don't change anything. I've often gotten the feeling they are trying but are stuck/at a loss, yet don't want to officially wave the white flag for the zone. Kudos for at least trying new things like capturable towns and adding new outposts. And there will always be something people can complain about, so griping isn't surprising for PvP in an MMO.
But it makes me tired just seeing the same
laundry list every time.
Not sure when I've last seen lots of people on this forums really, really excited for some new changes.
At least the new Artifact weapons will shake things up. Either as a cool new twist to gameplay or as a change of pace for complaining

"Light and darkness?
"Whose light? The muted, sterile glow of Coldharbor? The ominous, deep shades pulsing like menacing glares in the depths of the Ashpit? The jarring kaleidoscope of the Shivering Isles?
"Whose darkness? The shade cast by Mara's robes as she watches over her children? The cloak of Stendarr covering those in dire peril? The occult pathways of Arkay? Light and darkness, indeed."
