How about a trading market?

    Yes
I think some use guilds for trading stuff and unless I'm mistaken there isn't yet a trading system outside of there except posting in the zone chat but I remember in Star Wars the Old Republic they had a full trading system where you could put items for sale that other players could see I believe it was faction locked in that one though (Empire/Republic) but it worked pretty well from what I remember and with ESO and one tamriel wouldn't need such restrictions I'd think. So do you think it'd be a good idea to have one here?

Yes, using guild stores is annoying to me

    No
Ok so I might not understand what you mean by a trading market, eso is the only mmo I’ve played so apologies for my lack of knowledge.
If you mean a market which would be global, as in one place that connects all guild stores? This would make guild store locations redundant no?

It may be an old, rehashed topic. But the topic has legs because an auction house is sorely needed.

So have a yes and an agree. The exclusionary clique system we have going now stinks.

Or the topic has legs because people refuse to believe, despite how many times there have been polls and threads, many people have no issues with the current system and don't really want a change.

Why is an auction house "sorely needed"? There are trading guilds that have no requirements beyond logging into the game once a week. In guilds that don't want to bother with bidding on traders there is still the guild store.

I belong to one of those no requirement guilds. I go weeks without bothering to list anything. Yesterday I did; listed some tempers and trait mats for jewelry for prices I thought were fair, and in the space of about 2 hours ended up with 167480 gold. From 30 listings. In my not trading guilds I will use the guild store to get rid of recipes I don't need, intricate items I don't need, all for "guildie's discount" prices. Why would I "sorely need" an auction house that would either tank prices, or raise them to ridiculous amounts because people do the buy and flip routine. I'd never be listing recipes/blueprints/plans for 9 gold if I knew someone would be relisting them for 1000% more. I'd never list my tempers and mats for what I think is fair, if there was an auction house for the same reason. Actually, I'd never list stuff for sale period because the auction house system would be abused.
