Idea for 4.3.4 Natch Potes

Altmer
• +200 Spell Damage (instead of 258)
• No longer restore their lowest maximum ressource
• Get a 700 Damage Shield for 6 seconds when using a class ability, can occur once every 10s.

Altmer parse on top of many charts and the lowest maximum ressource returns is confusing.
Getting a magical shield instead fits the lore better and gives some survivability that can be handy in both PvE and PvP while not increasing their DPS.

Dunmer
• +150 Spell Damage (instead of 258)
• +150 Weapon Damage (instead of 258)
• Dealing Fire Damage restore 150 Magicka, can occur once every 4 seconds

Further differenciate Altmer and Dunmer.
Bring back a bit of fire flavor for both users of Fire Staff and Dragon Knights.

Orc
• +200 Weapon Damage (instead of 258)

They parse a bit too high compared to other Stamina oriented races.

Breton
• -3% Magicka Cost (instead of 7%)
• +150 Magicka Recovery (instead of 100)

Their sustain is too high with current values of their cost reduction and magicka recovery.

Bosmer
• Hitting an enemy at a range greater than 20m increase your Physical and Spell Penetration by 1500 for 3 seconds, this effect can occur once every 5 seconds.
• No longer give Physical and Spell Penetration after dodge rolling

Create a "dead" zone where Bosmer lose their bonus penetration if they can't stay away from their target to land a shot once in a while, but give them a more manageable passive.

Argonian
• No longer get a bonus to Max Health
• +1000 Max Stamina
• Restore 300 Health, Magicka, and Stamina every 5 seconds while potion is on cooldown
• +100 Spell and Weapon Damage for 15 seconds after activating a synergy

Solve PvP "burst restore" whining, and give some DPS help when being a team player
And finally bring some "shadowscale" flavor \o/

    Altmer: shield is so small it's basically negligible. I doubt this will stop the Altmer tears (but then I'm sure nothing will).

    Dunmer: this will dramatically decrease Dunmer's viability as a hybrid. Also, I don't like that the sustain is tied to a specific type of dmg, something ZOS is clearly trying to move away from.

    Bosmer: This will benefit no one but sniper gankers. No thanks.

    Tl;dr: no to all of them.

    If the goal's to make the last hold-outs race change away from argonian, that might do it.

    I'd have to shift points away from magicka if I lost the health bonus, reducing dps. And the synergy bonus doesn't help when I'm solo, like 99% of the time.

    You don't need the bonus anyway for solo content. If you want to invest in Health, it's up to you, but Argonian are not supposed to be tanky.

    So you want to straigth out nerf 6/10 races (not sure if the breton change would actually be a nerf, though) and the other 4 are completely untouched? Guess you primarily play those 4 remaining races.

    That Altmer damage shield is completely useless, it would be 300 in PvP, the off stat return is way better.

    Bosmers just lost 10% damage from stealth for good reason because of how it stacked with snipe. Now you want to give it back and it only works with bow abilties and you don’t need to be stealthed? Idk what you even mean about the dead zone.

    Dunmer you want to traid 150 wpn damage for 75 sustain? Nah. That also limits it to basically just magicka DKs and MAYBE Templar’s or using flame reach every five seconds. They’re in a good spot.

    Enough with the nerf Orc threads. They’re about 50-100 dps above the next best race and about 1k ahead of the worst rested race and that’s in an absolutely perfect condition, in a real boss battle you probably won’t even notice a difference.

    Bretons are fine.

    Argonians are fine. 100 wpn damage after activating a synergy? Why?

    Sorry but these aren’t even close.

    The goal is not to have better passives, otherwise we would propose +2000 Damage, +20000 Max Ressource, +2000 Recovery...

    I am not a big fan most of the changes ZOS implemented after 4.3.0, but your's seem considerably worse. ZOS at least tried to implement an objective approach in 4.3.0 that made the passives scale based on set bonuses and thus allow for them to be complemented with set bonuses from gear.

    Here we go.

    Dunmer gotta have that extra flame damage. Cause you know they love lava and therefore they can do extra damage with fire, cause fire is life to them.

    Racials seem pretty good for the most part. Might just need to tweak the numbers a bit and then just go live, I want my free race changes !!

    I’m sorry but ur change proposal is not that good as it stands before the next pets patch dps racial balance is actually pretty on point argonians could maybe use a little more tweaking but all in all races ar now pretty balanced and now have some clear cut roles certain races are really cut out for
