How about a reduction in the monthly cost of ESO subscriptions?

For example I would like to just pay for the Craft bag. I really can't justify paying $15/mo for a craft bag, don't need the other "perks". I say make it $5/mo for craft bag only!

Thing is, people do pay $15 a month to get just the crafting bag (everything else to some people is just an added bonus).
The ability to buy just a crafting bag membership would be great, but I'm sure Zenimax have done the figures and can see it is more beneificial for them to not do this.

I too might sub if ESO+ was only $10/month versus $15/month.

Thing is, how much money would Zenimax be leaving on the table then?

I have no idea, but there's like a bazillion people who sub. So, I try to understand. :)

I've always looked at it the other way around. My sub gets me discounted crowns every month and the craft bag, exp, gold bonus are free extras.

Subscription is very cheap for its value, not to mention you use the servers which need upkeep. Granted they doesn't seem to be the best servers available

Nothing personal but such posts gets on my nerves. Coming from a third world country I have to work 4 times more to earn the same as a first worlder minimum wage and I can afford the sub even so with the stupid currency exchange rates.

I’ve been subscribed to a MMO since 1999. Started with Everquest till WoW came out. Then WoW till July of last year when I started playing ESO. Don’t have any other hobbies so unless family obligations come up I’d say I average about 6 hours game time a day. I figured it out and that means I’m paying about .08 cents an hour to a hobby that has given and amazing amount of fun over the years. Seems pretty cheap to me.

What about giving the game a real QoL update by making the crafting bag a base game update for everyone and just increase the bonuses for ESO+ subscribers?

It's a shame that you monetize inventory space with your subscription model - deliberately. Because you're handed out so much junk and stuff that the game without it feels like a chore, especially with the small amounts of bag/bank space we have or can afford.

At the price of 2 or 3 pints a month (£6.73 to £8.99 per month depending on subscription) it is already fantastically cheap and great value for money for the benefits you get, Crowns, craft bag, bank space, furnishing space, DLC access etc

Yeah, I can't justify spending $175/year anymore for a crafting bag and bank space. DLC? I own Orsinium and the two guild DLCs, all others I don't like. I still have over 3000 crowns as there hasn't been anything worth buying for nearly 6 months now.

Agree, it would be nice to have other subscription models. Say, basic model with only craft bag 7$ per month and 500 crowns reward, medium model with additional DLC access 10$ per month and 900 Crowns, complete subscription for 15$

I think that the sub price should be raised and made mandatory as it was I the beginning. That would get rid of some of the riff raff and trim the player base of some of the more demanding players. With fewer player there would be less demand on the servers. No more lag. I would say that it would be a WIN all the way around!

The price is a pretty much a industry standard. At $15 a month it's 50 cents a day. A cheap investment for entertainment budget and future development of the game. You cut the price, you will see a cut in new development. I also don't buy it that you only use 240 Bank space.

I have around 3500 inventory slots between my 15 chars, home storage and a bank space. I doubt that 200+ or so additional bank storage would make a difference.
Though, admittedly, even that is barely enough for crafter/trader/furnisher enthusiast without eso+ and requires some character juggling.
I think, there are some people like me who don't feel that eso+ is necessary for them, but would gladly pay half the price for additional comfort of having crafting bag.

it would be even better, if we had an inventory similar to craft bag only for furniture. These days I only subscribe when I want to finish a housing project and need all furnishing slots available

    1. You are not only paying for a crafting bag, you are paying to keep the game running.
    2. You dont get access to dlc and 1650 crowns per month because you are paying 15$, you are paying a subscription price that makes sense for the business model and thats why you get goodies fitting to the price.
    3. I think ESO+ is rly fair for Players and for ZOS.

I am paying for crown packs to keep the game running. Can I have an eso+ discount (sarcasm)?

I don't see why there shouldn't be different subscription models, but anyway, I don't necessarily need them. It would be nice to have something to choose from

I understand what you are saying, but it all comes down to priorities. For me it costs 50 a month and it is not cheap at all, I would rather take my girl to a nice dinner with this money. Maybe if the cost for subscription was lower or equivalent to the economy of my country compared to the US, I would consider getting 1 year of sub.

I think it’s the other way around.

I’m paying $25 for the crafting bag but I get a heavy discount for making up the numbers in DLC random dungeons. I know so many ESO+ subscribers who do not feel that the DLC dungeons are a benefit.

To be honest aside from the crafting bag and inventory allowances and a vague/possibly insane sense that I want to support the ongoing maintenance and development of the game I enjoy, I don’t feel there are any benefits from ESO+ subscription.

    Crowns? Wouldn’t buy them

The Free to Play model has only enabled the entitled mentality to level of absurdity.

Gaming is still one of the cheapest forms of entertainment available. Rather than asking for a reduction in monthly subscription, why not demand everyone have to pay it? Let's stop lowering the bar and begin raising it a tad.

So many complaints about lack of development, server quality, customer service responsiveness but this, like so many other things today, few are willing to pay for.
