Me eitherI made mine about three weeks ago. Is there a way to go view the sliders after the fact? I tried to poke around the interface a bit without any luck.
You can use race change tokens to access the sliders screen. If you don't accept changes, you don't burn the token, so it's one way. Similar to that, what I do is go on the PTS and but as many tokens as I want to tweak appearance, since there is a slight difference between in game and character creation. After I have the final sliders, I create on live. Pts stays on even after update goes live, so you can keep using that.
Oh cool, thanks for the info
I just deleted the PTS after not being able to figure out what to do on it. Guess I need to re-DL now.
PTS, if nothing else, is a great way of testing builds. If you get the template, you have infinite mats so that's helpful. Plus, infinite knowledge and crowns, also helpful. At least for me, I like playing me normal difficulty game with outside of the box builds, for the fun of it, but having the pts to test then everything so much easier and cheaper.
So between that and playing with creation, I think it's worth the hard drive space :P
I'm going to have to see if I can find a written dummies guide to the PTS. I'd read there were templates floating around somewhere, but when I couldn't find them instantly, I made a new Bosmer instead. Then I couldn't figure out what to do with her. She was cute, though
I deleted the PTS because I'm so used to having a tiny SSD. I still have half a terabyte available, so that was pretty dumb.
When you create a new character, on top left corner there should be a tiny drop down menu, that's where you select the template. It'll be max level with pre existing knowledge of most things and all the shards and most if not all skill points., and books that will teach the rest inside the bag. Also inside the bag, you'll have 1 billion coins, infinite amounts of resources, from food and drinks, to crafting materials and transmute stones. Also, a plethora of gear sets coffers, sorted by type of content (trial, overhand, PvP) and yet again, more coffers by location inside those first ones.
From there, it's just a matter of looking inside it until you find what you want. The initial 5500 Crowns replenish daily, but that may only be during pts cycle... Dunno if they replenish after. Everything in the crown store on pts costs 1 crown, so even if there's no replenish, you'll be fine.
Now go and have fun

Didn't know how to cut and paste my sliders and make one post. Don't know what happened to her eyes in this screenshot?
