This was back before Dark Brotherhood. That said, I fully understand why they don't do this. Though a corrupted version with unnaturally pale skin and a red glow would look pretty badass.
Well... skin replaces skin so... it looks exacly the same as on non vampire XD

NO!!! We need vampire skin HIDERS not to look extra vamp.
But yeah that's look so neat if it at least made the glow red.
