my point was that a new player doesn't stand even a chance so gets negative about the experience immediately and stops playing,
I just want more people to play and enjoy so the community and game grows and doesn't stagnate like it currently is. low cyro pop and less servers than ever, massive q times for BG's and so on.
But im very close to not caring anymore so, it is what it is.
You guys are missing the point!
In under 50's there are very powerful, new players or casuals do under 50's, don't get me wrong you the odd twink troll master who cant cut over 50's but for the majority they don't know how to combat WW.
So for a new player or a casual they seem too strong because they lack the experience to combat them, ZOS didn't think about this when they buffed them plus with scaling they hit pretty hard with the bleeds, also I think the enchants are still firing from WW bleeds.
being able to pvp - enjoying pvp - takes a certain type of fortitude and resolve...there's always gonna be a build/player/situation which kicks your butt...gotta learn and adapt - or go crawl in dungeons or pick flowers while questing overland...
Jesus! you got 2 awsome's for that, you must have an alt account.
oh, thank you - i really needed that laugh
okay then, let's get serious for a moment...
werewolves themselves ain't the issue...
i have 10 characters on the NA server - the last two i started were wardens...
when i brought them in to non-vet battlegrounds - they performed really really well, because, although i couldn't carry my cp into the environment - i sure as heck was able to put them in some fine crafted epic gear sets, along with having some excellent potions and food/drink buffs at my disposal...
the same issues happens in kyne - sure everyone is a non-vet with no cp - but, our characters are not all wearing the same gear, or, have the same resources at their disposal...
you wanna really talk about a non-vet issue - i give you: class imbalance:
i have 5 more toons i created on the EU server...took them through battlegrounds during the recent mayhem event...
in my first match i brought in my mag sorc whom proceeded to get 21 kills, zero deaths and 11 assists...
yeah, that sounds fair...
pvp ain't for the weak of heart...and, you can't carry new players along - even with a MMR system in place...
life's not fair, and, neither is eso pvp...
maybe fortnite might be more suitable for some - at least there if you're fighting a werewolf you won't get mauled to death...
I 100% agree with you, twinked out characters and a player with experience will dominate under 50's BG's no matter what.
Ive got 30 characters over 4 accounts pc na and eu, played since launch and ive started every class in under 50's and its cool if you don't believe me but WW on any stam class is a little too strong. The level boost it receives is a little crazy when you can fully level WW and still be level 10. If you don't believe me, come and duel me, ill make a new WW and show you.
My point wasn't that I have a problem i can deal with them because i can equip twinked gear and i have experience, my point was that a new player doesn't stand even a chance so gets negative about the experience immediately and stops playing, I just want more people to play and enjoy so the community and game grows and doesn't stagnate like it currently is. low cyro pop and less servers than ever, massive q times for BG's and so on.
But im very close to not caring anymore so, it is what it is.
^ with that logic, “new players” would never get anywhere in the game because they’d quit the minute they get steamrolled in VMA, VDSA, VDLC dungeons, etc.
If a “new player” gets wrecked in BGs, maybe the new player should rethink doing PvP in mismatched sets of light armor.
