Who Resistances are considered when shielding an ally?

So let say I’m wearing Imperium. It gives a shield to nearby allies in an area.

When it activates and all my group members get shielded who’s resistances are taken into effect.

The caster or the recipient?

Do they get a 35k resistance 3500inpen shield if those are my stats?

I'm going to assume it's the resistances of the player it hits but I'm not sure for certain.

The person it is applied to. If it was the caster then Tanks could dish out some might powerful shields. But as mechanics goes it makes no sense as the shield does not have resistance, you do, it's just that it's mitigation is applied before the shield is hit. Otherwise it would be like saying if I have major protection and gives someone a shield do they also get major protection, no cause it's you who have the major protection not the shield. Confusion around this probably comes from people inaccurately saying shields got resistance now, they don't.
