Plus, who in the US would be working on it at 04:00 EST??
Also, is it not unusual to take off both the live servers and the PTS on the same day?
Methinks its a case of automated offline and then being left sitting there while the ZOS finish the Live patch.

I’m assuming it’s because so much maintenance was stacked on top of each other this week. I wish we could patch pts on separate days though, so we could have something to do while either server is downIt's strange that a second round PTS is taking more than 6hrs to implement. Can we get patch notes now or soon?
Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.2 -
