Summon Unstable Clanfear Scaling

ZOS can you please do a balance pass on this sorcerer skill. For starters I understand this is a Tank ability, but you need to make up your mind here on how it scales.

Unstable Clanfear costs Magicka.
Attacks are Physical DMG?
The tooltip DMG increases by only your Max Magicka, not Max stam.
However it copies your stats for Physical Penetration and Crit Chance.
Master at Arms, Mighty, Precise Strikes, Piercing ALL effect the Clanfear's DMG.

If you want to give Stam Sorc's more options, simply change the Max Magicka scaling to Max Stamina scaling, if you MUST change the cost from Max Magicka to Stamina, you will need to reduce the cost so this doesn't hurt tanks who use it, but I would prefer if it remained as a Magicka Ability.

It really makes no sense to me here. It's main tooltips dmg scales from max magicka, but everything else it does, scales from stamina damage dealer stats that a mag dd wouldn't have.

So to test what an unstable clanfear scaling off of max stam could do, I setup my build with easy to obtain stats that most people will have on an end game build.

Max Magicka 31k (To simulate scaling from Max Stam - easy to achieve)
Crit at 54%
Penetration at 7k
Master at Arms at 20%
Mighty at 11%
Crit Dmg at 1.66% (forgot minor force)

It provided only about 1k dps passively which is actually fine for a tank skill, but at least people wanting to use the Clanfear could pump out 1-2k dps out of it. The stats I used were minimal at best and the main reason it did only 1k is because it attacks every 2-3 seconds. Some hits it did were actually over 5k.

This wouldn't make it OP, nor would it change it from being a tank skill. It would provide a tiny boost to it's DPS and give more weight to stamina sorcs that want to mess around with a pet. The skill costs 2 slots. It's already limiting in comparison to other tank % heals in the game that only need 1 slot. It deserves this change.

I'd ask for a base increase to the tooltip dmg too, however thinking small and easy. The scaling should be an easy priority. It won't change the meta by any means. I'd use this on a bow/bow build if anything.

    I normally don’t like sorcs but yes they really need this I use pets on my Sorc Tank but the way they work is just wrong. I get a good amount of health and stamina for blocking and way more magic then any other tanks.

    If they changed this, I would use it on my Stam sorc, I love the little guy but he is completely useless to a Stam DPS

    I agree, it should scale with stamina.
    Add a Scribing skill that works like Arcanist beam.

    Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.

    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.

    It should scale with stamina OR magicka, based on whichever is higher.

    It shouldn't be a dps skill at all. What it should be is a reliable heal but it's far from, instead Clanfear prefers to Leroy Jenkins into the biggest zerg it can find.
