Dungeon Story Mode

People have been asking for story mode for a while, but I doubt it will happen. Sounds like a lot of effort to implement for something people are gonna use once or maybe twice.
They'd have to remove all the loot or people would abuse it for easy farming.

I think if they made the distinction between dungeon difficulties larger it would go a long way to fixing this.

Make normal mode easier, your average lvl47 pug doesn't need to experience a painful, pseudo-vet dungeon. Still include the mechanics that have to be followed in vet, so players can learn them and turn up in vet prepared. Perhaps give bosses 90% damage reduction while mechanics are occurring so you can't just ignore them and burn. Make sure they're survivable solo. I'm not saying turn it into Fungal Grotto 1, but no annoying oneshots and reduce damage on the whole. This would mean any half decent, prepared player can solo it (kind of like normal Maelstrom), and the roleplay-inclined can find a few other like minded people to clear the dungeon without (m)any wipes.

Vet can stay tough, harder than base game vets. If you want the new monster set and purple jewels, you can work for them. But still doable by the average player who has a decent rotation, decent gear and plays their role properly.

Leave the most difficult stuff for HM. Make the achievements and skins hard to get so they're something to be proud of. Like the upcoming Elsweyr trial, perhaps give each separate boss (or the whole dungeon, at the beginning) a hardmode to further segment the two vet difficulties.
