I personally found that this was one of the core advantages of dual wielding, and would have rather seeing two handed being improved.

    Yes, but there are other ways of reducing power creep, much better ways, that require actual effort, this is why i am so against nerfing of any kind in almost all cases.

    Could have been the intent, after they changed how enchants apply on DW. They were relatively op and now they were brought down to, seemingly, regular levels. Poor SnB though will miss even more of their lacking damage. Delves will become a challenge. 😂

    I can appreciate the reason behind it but they really need to reduce the number of tempers required now to gold out DW weapons as they erode any other reasons to use them. Should not be costing 16 tempers for DW vs 8 for 2 handers / staves.

    Yep, at this point we just need to reduce the price of upgrading one-handers to 4 tempers and make all one handers drop in pairs or with a shield.

    Oh? Two hander-lowers only wanted to be made more relevant and are not ok with giving back to make stuff actually equal and fair? Too bad.

    I'm amazed how in eso something may become OP and then nerfed to the ground, within just 3 months :D

    A direct nerf to DW and 1h/shield builds with nothing in exchange... and if someone wants to have, say, a full strength poison glyph and absorb stam glyph on their dw/whatever build, well then they're just SOL cause glyphs of the same type don't stack. Meanwhile, 2h passives are still kind of bad.

    Of course the loud DW lobby will jump in here claiming that this nerf will "ruin their unique identity"....

    The only thing wrong with this nerf is that it didn't come 3 months ago! (That goes for Werewolves, too!)

    That is a very good point. Dual wiled enchants should stack and act as one full-power enchant if two of the same are used. Also let us put weapon enchants on shields. Armor enchants are nowhere close in strength to warrarnt such a nerf to one handed and shield.

    I just see Zos's usual lazy approach to every game issue. Amazing how they don't take game performance as the most crucial issue with the game. The performance has been the worst ever and yet they continue to help deteriorate it. :*

    Please just fix the performance first, stop the events, and take one new content break so you can make the game run more smoothly, Zos

    Positive change overall. This will close the gap in PvE between stamina and magicka dps. Will close the gap between dual wield and 2h, making 2h a more viable choice for high end PvE. It's also a much needed fix for PvP where dual wield Torug's builds were doing too much dmg.

    I was surprised by the amount of fixes, and balance changes coming with the patch. Even the sheer amount of content is quite surprising.

    No this is the dumbest *** and I can’t believe they gave in to the whiners asking for this. The main reason is that enchantments do not stack, so now there is no option to try and get the full effect of one enchant if you do choose. The second reason is that enchants are not the reason 2H suck rn. For PvE it’s more about how the skills work and for PvP it’s broken targeting/function of dizzy swing and a useless other morph of wrecking blow.

    I think it was a needed a change. But I would of preferred they just kept it simple and made "off-hand" weapons enchants are disabled.

    What makes you think this is a PvP change? If anything the enchantment nerfs are because of PvErs complaining about the imbalance between DW and 2H in terms of DPS.
