Making an attractive Dunmer

Is it truly possible to make an attractive female dark elf in the character creator? I've tried so many times but those perma-frowns...

Somehow ZOS is able to make beautiful Dunmer NPC's but I'm at a complete loss on how to emulate that in character creation. I've spent a longer time than I'd like to admit trying to do so.

    Try to use hair which hides those frowning part of the face. Orsinium ponytail works good imo.

    The easiest option is to go vampire and embrace the "dark" look. Otherwise, be prepared to spend a TON of time in the character editor... I've seen players pull it off, but it's rare.

    The frown is what gives them character. Honestly for all the problems ESO has, the art for the Dunmer and some of the other races is absolutely on point.

    Dunmer are probably the only race in the game to have pretty much perfect facial models for both male and female. IMO.

    She looks very similar to mine (but I did go for the 'enhanced' RBF). They could almost be sisters :smile: which is strange because I tried to make her look like me... and she kind of does, a bit -- ok, not much, but still.

    Black, white, purple, red, various shades of pink. Azura's curse is the reason for the red eyes - but that seems to have been retconned for Skyrim, and also ESO.

    Maybe one explanation could be that there has been cases of interracial coupling in both history (ESO) and the future (Skyrim, TES6). Who knows, but if character creation allows it, and the race is pinned 'Dunmer', I guess it's OK. :wink: There is a side quest about an interracial couple -- so it's not impossible. But I wonder which genes would be dominant in the case of Dunmer and Nord -- you might end up with something similar looking to high elf...

    it's quite easy to make any dunmer attractive. Just log in, agro a mob and let your health points reach zero. ;)

    You just have to keep trying. I find that the eyes can help a great deal in making an attractive Dunmer as well. Please do share a photo

    It's funny that this thread appears right when I am considering making my Necromancer character a female dunmer.
    Normally I don't play female characters but I had an idea for a backstory that I really liked that I couldn't pass up.
