Arena Weapons Buff Poll (Again to remind the devs)

This is simply a poll to remind the devs that the relevance of the old content(Arenas) is fading due to the 1 piece bonus on the new arena perfected drops. This precludes the option of the devs returning and adding a hardmode to existing arenas because that is too much development time to spend on old content.

Buff all unique ability buffing weapons with 1 piece stat bonus on Vet (Master & Maelstrom) and hardmode (Perfect Asylum). Normal and non-hardmode would drop normal non-buffed variants.

I never found we need a special difficulty for things we once had.
Since we appearently do, option 2 is fine as well. It definately should happen in any case.

Actually I don't really need the 1pc bonus , I just want a harder solo arena ...

There should be "Other" category. I would think that we may need differentiation, because some weapons reside on back bar and won't benefit from the buff anyway (bow, inferno), some sit on the front and really need a buff to compete with full 5pc set effect after Summerset (DW, Asylum destro, some others), and others yet just weak on principle and buff rarely used skills in rarely used ways, so 1pc bonus won't save the day.

And I don't imply some huge changes, in some cases even a small change can make things noticeably better - say, why not increase buff's time limit on vMA 1H&S, so a tank wouldn't be forced to follow Low Slash with a heavy attack right away. Some may need more in-depth rework. And some pend on a proper overhaul of the corresponding skill line (two-handed, looking at you now).

First off, nerf master axes - afterwards Buff msa, asylum, and dsa.

actually the 1 pcs setboni can be helpfull in certain situations, when you cannot swap to frontbar, to loose less DPS than you would now.

@irswat , with Maelstrom's drop randomness, imagine the process of farming a bow or inferno. Some people do a hundred of runs for their drop. Hundred flawless runs is beyond masochism, Maelstrom doesn't have enough replayability in it - the fun of actually running it will be out long before anything remotely useful drops. ^^

After beating Stage 9 you can either leave and receive a regular vMA wep or proceed to Stage 10 and beat that for a Perfected version

Jeah well on vMA bow or staff there its kinda special, cause they are backbar weapons.

I for myself, would love to see Altering Weapons changed, which affect weapon spammables, to be competitive with the monstersets, so you have to choose between monstersets or Arena Weapons.

vAS inferno for example...as it sits now, normal or perfect aside, its just underwhelming overall (PVE standpoint)

The skill it affects costs more than Eleweapon, deals less dmg then Eleweapon, on single target ofc.
For Forcepulse, when hitting all 3
enemies there it may be neat, but would still be outperformed if you would use for example a Siroria staff (if you can stand still)

Changeing Asylum Inferon to always affect more enemies than the baseskill would make it more competitive. (on sorc atleast, since it has no class spammable)


Imperfect Asylum Destro:

1pcs Bonus: Not added on Imperfected Weapon
2pcs Bonus: Force Shock and its Morphs can hit up to 2 more Enemies, within 10m of the First Enemie hit.


Perfected Asylum Destro:

1pcs Bonus: Add 833 Kritrate
2pcs Bonus: Force Shock and its Morphs can hit up to 2 more Enemies, within 10m of the First Enemie hit.

This would add a whole new level to Arena weapons, making Asylum weapon maybe worth slotting more than it does now.
