Who Else is Playing as a Necromancer when Elsweyr Launches?
I’m definitely gonna create a Breton Vampire Necromancer!

Not sure what to name them or what race to pick or any of that.
Might finally finish thieves guild and dark brotherhood with that character as I'm sure those skill lines will help them.

Ive always loved Necromancy characters. Had so many in Skyrim I lost count of just how many. I just really really really really really hope there is some really good offensive spells/summons for this class. Will be disappointed if its a bunch of healing junk. I want a formidable DPS necromancer character who kick butt on his/her own in both Pve and PvP. Not just a role player who can resurrect bodies to heal.

Not crying about it, just stating a fact. I play one character. I'd love a class change but since we aren't getting one I'll stay on my main. No big deal.

I have a character who I've played since launch who was always supposed to be a necromancer.

Since class change isn't happening I'll have to rebuild them from scratch.

Just like all other alts. Why not give each class "Necromancy Themed Tree" to make game fresh for everyone?

Yes. I was leveling a second Sorc to see if I can try to like that class but it’s no good, I don’t enjoy Sorc. So yes I will be deleting it and making it into a necromancer as soon as it drops.

I use Silver Leash with all my Tanks including the Dk and the Warden.

Dk’s chains cost magicka and he’s stamina based so I can spam it if needs be.

Warden’s Frozen Device is a great skill but takes a few seconds longer than I’d like in most fights. Used it to great effect in DSA once you memorize spawns but otherwise I use Silver Leash.

So even if there isn’t a chain pull, you’ll have one.

Unless you meant a lockdown/ group cc like Talons or Gripping shards. Then yes, I can wait to see what they have. On the preview it looked like they had a spell called Graveyard that makes a bunch of tombstones shoot from the ground. That would be good for a group cc. Also, in game npc necromancers have the slowing/stunning circle of skeletal arms from the ground as a group cc so it might be that.

I'll make a magicka-focused one and a stamina-focused one. Breton or Altmer for the mag one and Khajiit for the stam one to fit the theme of the storyline for the year.

If I get it I will try it out, still need to see more. I like my necro in Diablo 3 but I don't think it will be anything remotely as good
