I want to change my race to Khajiit, but... need advice

So I play a petsorc now. The race is Altmer. He's soon to reach lvl 50, he has a lot of skillpoints and I want this char to be my main. I'm tired of leveling toons, my CPs are still 600+, and I want to max them. So, I want to play only this petsorc. But... I want him to become a Khajiit once we will go to Elsweyr. This means, racial passives will change also. Will this be critical for a petsorc? To what extent?

Do nothing today that will be nerfed tomorrow (expressly near a nerf races patch)

Wait until after the nerfs hit & the dust has settled (5-6 weeks after the next DLC)

Best advice forget the "meta" "you wish to be khajiit then be khajiit like this one. " honestly play what you want, enjoy the game. I never followed meta and have had loads of fun and have had no issues. Sure my khajiits passives don't benefit my petsoc but I still love her.

You could also make it a stam sorc.
Kahjiit make good stamsorcs

I have a khajiit mag sorc and we have soloed all the normal base game dungeons that are soloable and I have done some healing on her also. So if you want to be khajiit then do it.

Play what u want. Unless your top tier raiding it wont matter. They might decouple racial passives which im hoping for.

My Kitty is a MagNB, he does just fine. Unless you're min-max'ing for vet trials it doesn't matter what race you use.

If you want to play a Kajitt here is my advice.......

When you are posting on the forums break character...no one can have a logical conversation, with a Thespian gamer who refuses to break character.

My advice? Don't. Unless you are happy not to min-max, and don't mind that your character race has a stupid accent.

Kitteh is stam race, whereas Altmer / Dunmer / Breton are ideal pet sorcs.

This might not be true in a couple of days when the new race changes are published.

Racials (at least at the moment) do provide a benefit, but you wont render any class useless by having an ineffective race for your class.

Worst case, if you turn your sorc into a kitteh and you later want to get the most out of the character, Stamsorc is a very good build, makes for an awesome werewolf too.

I play a kitty Stam DK as Khajiits are great for stam and damage dealing. Just wait to see what happens with the race changes. Might be a waste of crowns.

Note that stamina builds are much better as mains if you use main for questing and crafting including master writs and surveys also easier to farm sky-shards on.
She was a magsorc Khajiit since launch, primary as healer after returning. Cleared most vet dlc dungeons on her.
Long tough about making her stamina made an Altmer alt to replace the role over an year ago.
Murkmire and the shield nerf broke it and not looking back.

Currently you looses 10% dps on an non magic race over Altmer on an pet sorc who is perfect for Altmer.
This can easy drop down to 5 or 3% on next update, Elsweyr might also bring other changes.
in short wait you have 4 months and the race change token don't time out.
Having 7 khajiit, one Altmer and one Bosmer.
