Is it really a good idea to introduce Cyrodiil mechanics that will INCREASE zergs?
I've just got around to watching the reveal video and heard they plan on having a new mechanic that will have super weapons spawn "randomly", (give it a couple of weeks and there will be an add-on for camping their spawns) that in theory will create MASSIVE zergs throughout Cyrodiil.
I don't play Cyrodiil PvP much outside of events but the idea of chasing after weapons at 5fps casting abilities 3 seconds after I press the button doesn't particularly sound too exciting, instead of implementing more mechanics and content can we look at optimisation? Net-code? Lag and FPS problems in general while in populated areas? I shouldnt be struggling to maintain double digit FPS taking a keep or take 10 minutes to load an area on a 1080ti + i7-7700k + Installed on an SSD.
FFS I've had the game lag like crazy in battleground domination when all 12 characters are together to fight over a point but imagine 30v30v30 or 50vs50vs50 levels of fighting over a point, anyone who doesn't crash or lag out of the game will have a migraine from the 1fps gameplay.
Also as a side point they mention its to counter Emperor. Who is complaining about Emperor? I have NEVER seen anyone seriously complain in the 4 years I have played about "Emperor OP plz nerf"? Emperor SHOULD be OP, instead they plan on adding MULTIPLE emperor level characters at a time into a campaign.
"Play how you want... unless its not how we intended you to play in which case we'll nerf it".
