Race = Player Personality

This is purely for fun, and shouldn't be taken as serious by anyone reading it. What type of player do you connect to a certain race? Any specific personality trait, game performance or unique quirks? Please keep it neutral and refrain from mentioning people or names. It could be things like...

Khajit: Talks a lot. From my experience, the people playing Khajiit ALWAYS have something to say.

Dunmer: I've found a lot of Dunmers that focus on lore, and quite a few roleplayers too.

What is your experience with the different races, and the players behind them?

High elves: Magicka PvP minmaxers. Suits their snooty attitude as well.

Khajiit: Seems to be easy-going people, role-players, home decorators.

Argonians: Folks with an unhealthy love for wordplay.

Nords: People like me. Obviously wonderful B)

Frequently I cannot tell the race of other players though, what with them appearing as a bunnyhopping low-res shadow whose name, 'Ultrakillerofpotatoes666", gives me little clue, and I usually only see them for a split second before death recap.

    Hehe, agreed with your observations.
Nords and Orcs are usually bold and stubborn persons, for example. Agronians love to discuss existentional things and many of them (who are younger) get offended when they hear lore jokes about racism and slavery.

I play khajiit. Because. They have claws, and, fur and, this feline grace, and, and, I swear I'm not a furry.
I do talk a lot (some would say WAY too much), but to me, playing a khajiit is the most important thing. Before the choice of the class.

Khajiit´s are the most interesting TES race though... when they´re not.. err.. too much Khajiit. Enough with the 'this one' talk.

My first ever TES character was a Khajiit in Morrowind. Back then however, they couldn´t wear footwear, and looked like they were running on hot coals all the time, so I soon switched to a Nord.

I have one Khajiit at the moment, looks cool but she´s only taking her daily trips to the stables at this point :p

Ahhh yes most of my characters are Dunmers and I admit the lore is most important to me so I guess it is one of the reasons I look at the incoming necromancers and dragons with rly rly bad mood.

Think lots of Dumers are Elder scroll players first.

Not sure about Khajiit talk much however.

The Khajiit talk is fun, "this one" and everything. But I consider it as a... countryside language? A "Patois" as we say in French. So, I don't use it. I don't know why a personality as eminent in Tamriel as my khajiit would talk like a peasant (No offense to the ones using khajiit way of talking in every single message, it's nice, it's RP). That's like, I suppose it's the same in every country, the news presentators, they don't talk with their native accent. You can't be taken seriously if you come at a professional meeting at a national level, or in the national TV news, and you talk with some really specific accent.

I don't have the screenshot on my phone, but there is a khajiit in Hew's Bane, with a store called "This one sells glyph", and his dialog starts like "I... this one welcomes you", or something like that.

I play by various race characters in different ways.
Redguards and Dunmers: I'm going to work hard here. They are the strongest characters in my hands. And I often can be irritated by others taking easy their jobs in raid.
Khajiit, Argonians: I have tail => I have fun. Something went wrong? That's just because you have no tail
Bretons, Altmers: Pure narcissism. Gameplay-shemplay... pfff... I'm fabulous
So yes, it seems tripolar

    Yes that one is fun.
Not all Khajiit uses "Kajiit speak" but most do its one of the racial things like weird Argonian names.

    From my experience:

    Orcs:
Orc players seem to be the biggest trolls, running crazy fast builds and find humor in it. They also seem to enjoy looking as ugly as they can and always seem to win the ugliest outfit contests. Not all are trolls, they just enjoy being funny.

    Wood Elves:
These players seem to enjoy being as small as they can get while busting damage. I don't know, these players seem to find that comical and will ride up to you on their mount on purpose to show how tiny they and their mount are.

    Argonians:
Quiet individuals who are very friendly OR can't manage resources well in PVP so they go with Argonian to make up for their lack of management. Usually NB players who will bag you after snipping you down or if you bag them back, they will send you hate messages. Sweet and Salty individuals.

    Dunmer/Altmer:
The ones who call Argonians purses and shoes. Thinks highly of themselves and brags about how high their DPS are.

    Redguard:
Take a lot of pride in being a Redguard. The true icon of Daggerfalls lion (imo).

The rest are just a mix of all things.

High Elf players usually have a good sense of fashion. Rarely will you see one that doesn't have a nice thought out motif with dye color combinations that catch your eye from afar. And yes, usually a little snooty too, lmao not all of them though :D

definitely a thing. something about sizing up with a high elf/orc/nord is funny to me.
