You need to reach the first rank of campaign rewards, which requires 25k AP. You can get that much fairly quickly by either joining a zerg group or getting a few friends together and taking resource flags.

This and honestly you dont even need to be in a group. Just try to participate in a few sieges either on defending or attacking side and you can reach rank 1 in less than 1 hour

30 day campaigns give a 50 crystal geode while the 7 day campaigns give a 10 crystal geode. You would have to earn 100k ap for forty crystals in a 7 day campaign (4x25k) but only 25k ap for 50 crystals in a 30 day campaign.

With the event right now, you can get to tier 1 after one or two keep captures. But, the queue will be your biggest hurdle. Personally, I get all 15 of my characters to at least tier 1 every month. And if we are winning the campaign, I get all 15 to tier 3. And then, I play the character that I enjoyed the most for the rest of the month. I managed to get every character to tier 1 before the event. And tier 3 is super easy to get with the double AP.

Yes you don't need to be in group but its better as you see other players on map and its easier to get Resurrection then you die. not sure about AP gain but think its better to be in group if you don't get many kills.

Note that your campaign score is a bit delayed.
And yes you have to be in Vivec or Sotha Sill with it as home campain for the 50 crystals.
Recommend Sotha Sill if you are an PvP *** as its much more causual.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

A more realistic number is 5, 4 from non-dlc vet hm and 1 from a normal dlc dungeon.
read patch notes carefuly next time

what do patch notes have to do with it? really.

Hi All. I have now 3 lvl 50 characters and ive heard people use Cyrodil as a means to grind transmute crystals. How does that work exactly? How much grind are we talking pr charecter and how long does it take?

Some info would be appriciated :)

Fair warning.. once you have gone down the dark path of PvP.. there might not be any going back. You might find yourself doing regular things in ESO like maybe doing writs or dailies and start to wonder what's going on in the campaign.. and you figure you'll just "take a peek" no harm done.. right? HA! That is the first slippery step of addiction.. Next you'll be enabling the AvA announcements so that you can always know when someone has taken a scroll.. It all seems so innocent.. at first.

Then you find yourself doing less and less PvE and wanting.. no.. needing to do some PvPing .. you know.. just to take the edge off. Soon, you'll be finding yourself staying up at ungodly hours of the night.. missing family events.. being late for work/school.. putting off normal daily activities in real life because you just need to go help take one more keep, outpost, resource, town.. or protect the runner with the scroll.. and gods help you if you have a stam toon that can run the scroll.. I hear that is a very dark addiction, indeed. I have stayed clear of that because I only run magblades.. but I hear the scroll runners have it pretty bad and it's pretty hard for them to resist going and taking another scroll.. it can be really scary, I hear.

So.. are you sure you wanna take this shadowy path just for a few crystals? I hear skooma is less addicting.. ;)

Can you get this by doing battle grounds too? Or is it only cyrodil. I have been farming battlegrounds since the double AP lol
