Sigh, no. Dreading it actually. Starting since Morrowind, each major patch or DLC has caused a visible drop in performance, that does not recover. When I bought the game in August 2017 my average ping was 180. It's now 280 to 300. I can't play pvp in Vivec anymore and Shor struggles in peak times. Trials in Pve are buggy and dc now, and final boss burns there are becoming literal slide shows with massive fps drops. I'd love to look forward to Elsweyr but frankly, I'm sure it's just going to break my game more. At least I bought a non-steam version from Bethesda now so I can play immediately after release, while my steam account is locked out. I would love to look forward to it actually.

Every new patch or just PTS patch notes for me = Nerf'o-phobia.

Even though I am always looking what happens to be the current meta & deliberately not use it (to avoid nerf consequences - it often worked in the past) I am always looking in the new patch notes with great fear...

So am I excited ? Hell no !

Never been a fan of playing necromancers in any game, but more options is almost always a good thing. (And if it's a skill line it can add to the things my vampire assassin/generically evil character can do.)

I'm excited for Elsweyr though. I've been wanting to go there (particularly the jungle in the south) since I started playing TES games with Morrowind. I'm worried they won't do it justice, especially the different khajiit breeds, but I'm still looking forward to seeing what they do.

I'm excited for necromancer mostly, but I'm also curious what they'll do for balance in general tbh. I'm hopeful the game will take a step in the right direction.

Honestly I'm a little excited to see hundreds of players have what they've built up in their heads as the perfect Necromancer class for ESO meet whatever ZOS actually has planned.

Just say no to skill-less pet classes. I wouldn't mind the necro class if it cam with zero summon skills though

Love cats and necromancers. It's just the Dragons that are bothering me.

I am cautiously optimistic, with a side of disappointment. I suspect that the Necromancer will be a cross between Nightblade and Sorcerer, the same way that Warden's are a weird cross between DragonKnight and Templar with a bit of Warden thrown in.

The chapter itself doesn't mean much for me, as I don't really play for lore. Dragons might be fun to fight, who knows. Maybe the gear will bring me to the zone. Who knows.

I'm disappointing that we got a new class this year though. I suspect this will be the new method of chapter releases. Class->Big System->Class->Big System. Maybe we'll get Spellcrafting next year.
