Problems updating the launcher

I have this weird issue where the launcher won't update. The game updates and runs fine, no issues there.
When I quit out of the game there's a popup stating that there's an update for the launcher itself, with an "update" and an "ignore" button.
Hitting "update" closes the popup and kinda locks up the launcher, in that I can't exit it without forcing it shut through the task manager. Hitting "ignore" is fine, the launcher still exits without a problem.

Does anyone else have this issue, and is there a fix?
