With performance bugs in guild roster ...maybe we will finally get our quality of life dreams for guild system! What do you guys hope to see?

* For me I would like the guild roster to show roles, so I know who to pm in guild for some content.

    My qol request would be better guildstore functionality esp for console. Search would be nice and a price aggregator might help stabilize the economy.

    I would like to see an option at guild trader sites that would allow the guild master to decide if they wanted their @name listed after the guild name so players could message them about joining. Would need to be opt in/out though so guild master isn't plagued with requests when the guild is full.

    And really dreaming we need a guild hall option. I'm thinking if ten members own the same house then another instance of that house becomes available on a list for the guild master to choose from for a guild hall. The home would still have to be bought and the guild master could decide what ranks get what kinds of rights.

    Also make it harder for me to accidentally leave the guild. I don't always pay attention and it is humiliating (a bit) because it seems when I do leave a guild by accident it is always the one I am 2nd officer in.

    There are several things I'd like to see in the Guild System, especially now that so many guilds operate complex rules around membership. I know that there are add-ons for much of this, but they are generally slow to get updated, they're buggy and are a compromise solution. Here's my list:-
    • More detail available about Guild Members in the roster, populated with sortable data - including date of joining, last donation amount and date, total donations for the period, last log, etc. Maybe for PVP guilds it would be useful to show whether the account has alts in more than one faction.
    • More ways of managing the Guild Bank - including the ability to stack items in the bank like we can in our own banks. The ability to buy more space would also be welcome.
    • More (or perhaps different) ways to control ranks. I would like to be able to give certain ranks the right to take certain items from a guild bank (maybe by item group such as crafting mats, potions, etc) or by level (e.g. green, blue, purple, gold). Right now it's all or nothing, and many of the existing rank options really don't help GMs to differentiate in the way we would like.
    • I would also like to see an overhaul of the guild trader bidding system. I'd like to be able to cancel a bid once placed, and to be able to place secondary and tertiary bids (so that if you lose your primary location, the system sorts you to the next location on your list so that have the automatic ability to win a secondary bid). It would be nice to know the winning range in a location, too - a question I am asked most by new trade GMs is how much to bid. This could be done in loads of ways, either a broad range, or a "cold, warm" style system - just something to indicate a ball-park value.
    • On a trade kiosk, we should be able to see the Guild Information for the incumbent guild so we know what they're about and who to contact to join / ask questions.

    That's my Guild wish list. I appreciate that my list is trade guild orientated, as I run a trade guild and am seeking to smooth away some frustrations. That said, I think a lot of this stuff works for any busy guild.

    I'm fully in support of updated guild systems, the ones ESO has right now work but are very basic. @MissBizz had a fantastic thread in the past about changes for guilds to improve them LINK

    The big issues or improvements I would like are.
    • Guild Bank Update - Ability to create different sections with different access levels (based on roles/groups), a better fix for the item duplication bug so we can finally be rid of "waiting on previous request"
    • Guild Ranks Update - Remove the promote/demote system and just let us create roles/groups we can apply to members.
    • Overhaul on UI - Add additional information such as account and char names, roles, etc.
    • Major update on guild trader system - UI UPDATE, UI UPDATE, UI UPDATE, UI UPDATE. Global search within the game (it makes sense because magic)
    Probably more things but I can't think of them right now. Tagging @Nermy as he might have some as someone running a guild which always had great ideas for guild updates.

    I have spoken with ZOS members in the past about this when I've had a chance to meet them, they acknowledged that they understand updates are desired and it would have to be a companion update alongside something, just just didn't have anything in the pipeline at the time. That was over a year ago though so I have no idea if plans have changed.

    Fix the Guild Roster Update Issue
    Give Guilds a Block Guild Invite List
    Increase About Guild Info to 1500 characters
    Guild Calendar Function
    Allow Guilds to list items to be sold in Guild Store from Guild Bank, pay directly to Guild Gold
    Update Mail System, reply & quote functions and allow Guild Officers to mass mail Guild Members
    Update Store function with a native search and filter function
    Make Viewing Guild Bank a toggle, let the Guilds decide what ranks can view.

    And in the end, combetative guilds can choose to declare their guildhall to be "open for battle", which means they can get attacked and their guildmembers can attack other "combat-enabled" guildhalls... while those guilds who'd rather just have fun with their friends can opt to keep their guildhall "warded" and unattackable...

    Options for gm to show number of listings each person has on the trader, choice to allow members to edit own notes, edit all notes or edit no notes, date member joined.

    Enhanced filters for searching traders (especially motifs), mass mailing by rank.

    Are there actual guild halls for the player yet?     The removal of guild stores and introduction of a central marketplace.
    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    Guildhall's would be nice. I will toss in guild quests too with this.

    Guild halls and guild quests sound super! Yeah, it would be nice if like when we wore a tabbard and did any quest, then the guild would earn some kind of guild currency. Guild currency of coarse would be used to buy stuff for guild halls.

    Also, it would be interesting if you could put on a setting that allowed all guild members to see you tracked on their maps. That way, when you are in guild chat asking for help they can find you real quick. They could describe where to go sometimes without having to travel to you and physically show. Yeah, wouldn’t have to waste time grouping if it was just a quick question of direction.

    I would love for 2 things:

    Guild house, which only guildmaster can upgrade it for moneys from members who just donate to bank.
    OFC... GvG !!! Guild vs Guild 12vs12 opposite to trials but for pvp players/pvp guilds.
    Guilds leveling system
    Guilds skills/buffs with higher lvl guild by transfer some xp from player or in other way and in result people have access to skills/buffs
    Also ranking for GvG with greatest amount of winnings like best scores for trials.
    System board (like daily craft quest) to finding guild who searching players (and player can search for guild which intresting him)
    And finally... category what type of guild is it. Social/ progress pve/pvp/ roleplay/ national/ hardcore or something else
    Upgrade system with tabards because they left it and nothing change (what looks a good idea but not finished)

    Would like to see guild recruitment boards in all the major cities, where guilds recruiting can place advertisements. A board for trading guilds, one for pvx, another for rp guilds, etc.

    optional automated donation system for traders

    something like, gm sets (x)g / week, system keeps track of how much players have donated and deducts (x) from there total every week, give a warning if you are unpaid then kicks a few days later.

    with the option to select effected ranks, so officers arnt effected

    also a "time out" option would be nice, like a thing where officers with perm could silence players from gc for a set amount of time.

    and setting who edits guild mem notes or a edit self notes but not others perm would be lovely

    You can already do that in member notes. Though if they are decent at the game they should have a dps/ a tanky/and a healer character that can all do vet endgame content. :)

    I think most of the things I would like to see have already been mentioned:
    • Guild halls
    • Guild mail
    • Guild calendar

    It's definitely time guilds saw a bit of love...
