L2P means to adapt.

Alot of the people saying L2P have multiple toons over multiple classes. Some have 2 of each and more.

Alot of them have been around for a while and have watched the game get worse because of stupid changes requested by people who have NOT played the game long enough to at all be entitled to request any changes. It's a big game, with lots of moving parts, and like many MMOs will take a while to actually learn.

Alot of them are not just defending their favorite class, but looking at the bigger picture. Besides "nerf cloak, makes NB easier to kill trollololol", does it actually upset the balance? And try to remember there are 2 types of nightblades not just stamblades.

NB Cloak is fine.

Things that will allow you to see cloaked enemies:
1. Skills - Mage light, Expert hunter, Revealing flare, Piercing mark
2. Detection potions.

So four direct Skills that counter Cloak, and potions that are available. Defiantly sounds like a L2P issue.

Learn to use the counters. We have counters that work very well. I know from using them. It is great.

I do find it sad some prefer to call for a nerf, such as the intent of this thread, vs developing skill to overcome in game.

I’d like to see cloak perform similarly to dark deal (bashable channel)

But the rest of the NB toolkit would need a slight buff to compensate for it. The all-or-nothing nature of cloak is frustrating.

Another option is to prevent healing while cloaked. (But while in hiding is OK)

If they made Shadowy Disguise more lateral to Streak:

- Added Oblivion damage upon activation.
- Keep Critical Strike guarantee
- Changed to Stamina morph

Then adding a 50% cost penalty for repeat use would make more sense.


But it's pretty much the no damage up front, plus magicka being limited on a stamina build, which makes the current form acceptable. Just block, or at least slot Radiant Magelight to prevent any stuns.

Streak treatment? Sure... if it also include 500% increase in speed and snare removal. Then it can be given the streak treatment.
