I'll definitely never wear stormproof, but I did finally break down and wear Tamriel hero. I feel like it's quite far from an epeen title, but instead just lets people know I love the game.

I love to show off my housing decorating projects. That's pretty much the only thing in the game that's any kind of personal expression, for me.

Not really my thing beyond a few cosmetics here and there. I DO try to be cohesive with my armor style and color, but that is more for me than those looking at me.

No titles or special mounts. I use my standard senche or Imperial horse. I drop off every 15 feet or so to harvest anyway so there is almost no time to even see my mount...

I'm definitely not one of the "LOOK AT ME" crowd.

I just use the stuff I like. some of my chars are using apex mounts (2 of them) but not cause of the rarity of the mounts. I just like em for those chars.

Nearly all of the titles and skins can be bought, so they are worthless (the irony...). I wear Master Angler and Grand Master Crafter - yes, I know this one can be cheesed too, but I worked hard on it and I'm proud if it.
I also like "Sun's Dusk Reaper" - easy to get so not a show-off, and sounds cool for a Nightblade

People riding those gaudy extravagant mounts annoy me rather than impress. Theyre very out of place. Same thing for skins.

I dont show off. My characters are so subtle they could pass as NPCs, and I've more or less stopped caring about titles. My main only uses the Explorer title cause that's what she does. I have vet Dungeon and Trial titles and my Sorc even has Stormproof finally, but i dont care about showing them.

I enjoy having my Master Angler titles showing and wearing a nice outfit made of all the motifs I've earned over the years but otherwise no I don't show off things and I don't care what other people wear/ride.

I'm just here to enjoy the game.

But sometimes I get a kick out of new players, too. Like when they run around a populated area firing off LAs endlessly. In my mind, I'm thinking: "Look, I has light attack and I'm the only one."

Or that person who rides up next to you on [pick one] mount and spams their space bar. "I am special, I has mount."

But I keep my trap shut. People play this game for endless reasons, however heartbreaking some of them may be.

I like to pick armour skins and cosmetic items which I think suit my characters, but it's more about fitting a theme or what's appropriate for them than what I imagine other people might care about. I won't rule anything out, but I'm also not going to use it just because I have it, it has to look right.

For example I got the psijic horse mount from a free crate, but I only use it on my sorcerer and occasionally my warden, because they're the ones who I can imagine would (and could) summon a magical horse to ride.

Most of them don't use titles at all just because they haven't unlocked any which suit them.

I have the vMol skin on all my toons because it looks so good and I didn't pay for it - I got it in a progression raid so I feel like I earned it.

I don't have a title on my main - I rolled him in 2015 and have almost never had a title on him except ones I thought were cool - like Boethia's Scythe or Mageslayer.

I mostly PvP - AFAIK no-one in Cyro could care less about your PvE titles or skins.

I like the Recruit title. It shows that I now how to operate a Ballista. It’s also fun to pop a siege shield in a dungeon.

I think the majority of the skins look awful, and I have no idea what they signify - same with the titles.

Though quite like the pvp ones - like genuine army ranks so more for RP reasons than to show off. And some of the event titles are amusing.

But then I play this game for my own amusement and do not need the skins/titles/guild ranks to fulfill my need for validation - it’s just a bit sad that others do, but then that is true irl as well. Ah well.

Mainly my skins and titles, but don’t most people? I did work hard for the titles of Former Empress and Flawless Conqueror and that vAS skin. I’m not a serious score-pushing pver nor am I a hardcore pvper who runs in guilds, so they mean a bit to me. For collectables, I just kinda flaunt off my Azure Fledgling Gryphon. I spent $30 and several months for that poop, and I love her.

What is there to show off?

Titles can be bought. Skins can be bought. Cosmetics like costumes and hats have little to no meaning. All of them can be bought too. Even accounts can be bought. Don't tell me this CP 500 snipe spammer who hides behind the healer and flees away from every ground-cast buff earned that vAS skin. Because they did not.

I run Flawless on my main mostly because I never thought I'd manage it on a wet-noodle squishy stamblade. Then I got gud and took the challenge seriously. Got some deeps on him and tackled vMA again. But guess what, nobody cares. So what's the point.

My tank runs Shadow Breaker for the moment but I think I'll change it tonight to Veteran or Pact Hero. Fits him better. It's a meaningless title when you can get it by doing +0, +1 or +2 and there is a world of difference between those. I'd run my +2 title but oh right, there isn't one.

Most skins don't make much sense on my chars. I run the vSP skin on my healer to hide his fugly vampirism and on my dunmer because I made her coal black and she looks a lot better when I can actually see her face.

Have a couple of apex mounts. Could use the storm atronach one but it doesnt fit my chars, not even my sorc. I've been running the Frostbane wolf since it dropped on the free crates last month but the more I look at it the sillier that pigtail on its butt looks, so I'm going back to my regular horse when I log that character. But guess what! Yup, nobody cares.

Houses are pointless. No one cares how much gold I spent decorating them or how long it took me. Besides, no one ever visits anyway. Which is why I own close to 20 houses but have only decorated two or three. Feels like a waste of time. Even lost the interest in acquiring the ones I don't have because, you guessed it, nobody cares.

Dunno. Maybe I'm just disheartened.

I wear my silver skin because I like to be shiny. I'm still mad that the Fabrication Sheath is all chipped and crap so I can't look like a solid bronze statue. The only real flex I do is the Dovahkriid or Hircine's Champion title, although that last one doesn't mean much since vMoS HM isn't hard anymore.
