Mystery Box - no costumes?

Plenty of style pages, a few pets, even know a person or two who got a home. Has anybody actually received a costume? Looking at last years posts its quite clear costumes were decently common. None so far reported this year. They went missing with the crown crates?

I don't know anyone that got one. And i haven't seen anyone mention a mount yet either.

I've gotten a pet but no costumes, mounts, or houses yet - I will note I have only been running about two randoms per day.

Two characters per day, and only motifs, Undaunted keys and a few other odds and ends. No pets, costumes or anything of note other than motifs, which I really expected, since that was the majority of the what I got from CWC boxes too. *shrug*

I know people who got houses so they exist. Ive gotten two pets and the rest motifs. Im not sure about mounts right now but definitely no costumes.

I was wondering about costumes too. Unfortunately ZOS didn’t mention in the article what collectibles we can loot, they must be super busy with LFG tool now, so I don’t expect any communication on this matter.

Got all the currently available motifs.

Got 42 pets, none of which I purchased, most I never wanted.

Nothing of value to me in the Mystery boxes, but that's just me.

No.

Collecting motifs is something I do diligently.

Pets came from free crates over the years, special promotions, and public dungeons. I just counted them.

We have events every month, which is a wonderful thing, but I'm burned out. It's nice to skip an Event and not feel I'm missing anything.

Unless of course you mean specifically what motifs, costumes, etc. Either way I think its safe to say. No costumes.

I actually got way better drops from the CWC event (equipment and motifs), but since it was double boxes for all the dailies in the zone I had a lot more chances. I would imagine there are more people like me who only get motifs, crystals, and the odd key, than those that get pets, mounts, houses etc.

That's fine though, I'm doing this event for the first time, and more for the daily tickets toward the Indrik than the RNG box.

I've got nine characters. I've done seven to eight a day and I haven't gotten anything besides motifs (and I have duplicates)...

Yea I've opened 24. Two pets, dog and dragon pet. The rest motifs and one duplicate motif.

A friend got Grand Topal Hideaway.


Cant recall if Ive seen anybody get a mount but def no costumes. Was hoping for some of the ones I missed out on last years event.

This makes me wonder if the boxes are bugged somehow because that's kinda odd people have gotten grand topal, but nobody has gotten a costume or mount yet that we know of

I want to say that two different guildies of mine got a mount. About 99% positive I read that in guild chat. But, no costumes that I know of.

I've only opened 3 boxes. I've gotten some motif pages, a Haj Mota pet, an undaunted key and one of the items you sell for 1,000g.

I've not heard of anyone getting mounts or costumes either.

@Jakx yeah I meant specific items. Last year we knew there were dark Shaman, blacksmith, for example.

I've only seen pets. The jackpots are supposedly mounts and houses. It wouldn't surprise me if the contents are bugged and we aren't receiving the costumes that are supposed to be in the prize pool. It also wouldn't surprise me if they just copy/pasted the event details from last year and there just aren't any costumes in the prize pool. This is ZOS after all. The left hand not only has no clue what the right hand is doing, It has no clue that a right hand even exists.

I've had nothing other than motifs. A guildie got Grand Topal and other friends have got a few pets, but no-one has mentioned costumes, strangely.

Not found any costumes yet either. I just assumed it was my bad luck since I haven't got anything other than motifs so far. It could be a bug? Otherwise zos decided to make the drop chance absurdly low for some reason.

6 or 7 runs a day for the last few days, almost all are motif pages, 1 pet (yay), few crystals, undaunted keys and that's it. no costumes or mounts or homes... and that's a lot of boxes me and my guildmates have opened.

This event's motifs are the new potion box drops from twitch, except you can't actually convert them to crystals.

On the note of twitch boxes, I have watched hours of twitch streams and haven't gotten a single box during the twitch events since they "fixed" the way you have to watch them. And I watch them the way you are suppose to.

@Atallanta Gotcha yea, its unfortunate they didnt specify but I'm guessing as someone pointed out below.. the likelihood is that they copy pasted the event details and really had no clue what was being put in the boxes.

For visibility sake.. @ZOS_GinaBruno Is it intended there are no Costumes dropping from the boxes this year? Lots of other goodies, just wondering though since the post mentioned costumes and the costumes you gave out last year I'd like to get.
