hunter ranger real pets please

I dont like the warden. which I had hoped was more like ranged, hunter with various pet options. turns out its just a bear and only as ultimate. I dont want a bear. I want a nice big cat. Am I missing something or have the wrong class? is there a combo where we can choose from other helper pets like they do in wow and GW?

At the moment, all you can do is get a non combat pet for what you are looking for.

Your options are sorc or warden for pets. Sorc has pets that are always up but they are deadra based. Clannefer is the closest to a cat. There isn't really a hunter class.

Yeah, I really miss my WoW hunters.... The warden works okay for me (because my only connection is satellite, so my ping is outrageous) because the pet (like the sorc pets) is run server-side so mitigates some of my lag.

I do miss my cats though. My hunters had lots of pets, but I mostly used the cats....

Sad thing is they already have that.

Mag or stam, not a glorious as guild wars 2 or other more fleshed out MMOs.

It just when zenimax does their "balancing" (or butchering) every patch they go full potato and only give you a very limited choice of "meta" armour sets thats actually viable.

I understand you complaints, i like the warden class the druid/nature based class in any MMORPG is always fun to play as, but they always have something to do with a bear, i suggested on the forum that ZOZ give us the ability to change the appearene of the ultimate so it doesnt have to be a bear, it could be a lion/tiger, dire wolf, or some lore based creature

I would like to see them offer skins to alter the appearance of the Warden bear ultimate. Then you could collect different "pets" via skins. It would involve editing the bear skeleton for different animals so not sure if ZOS would be willing to do it.

The question is if such a class would work in this game... For example i cant imagine a tamer in ESO.

I doubt we'll get this in ESO. I think the closest you'll get to something like this is if you go and play D&D. Beast master ranger is always good.

Between the ice and neon mushroom cartoonishness, I just can't take warden's seriously.
