Q: Twitch Drops - Using Chatterino?

Is it possible to still get twitch drops if your in the actual channel but not looking at the stream cause Chatterino can connect the the chat part of the streams but you don't see the stream though

Ah ok someone said they muted it and still got drops so just wondered0
