Why not implement this element from Fallout 76 into ESO?

So in Fallout 76 (made my Bethesda as well), you can earn atomic points where you can use it to buy items from their store. These are gained by completing daily quests and more. They are small amounts at a time but overtime as you play, you really gain a nice amount to spend in their store. I already bought a costume, a PIP Boy skin and spent a little extra money to get the hardwood flooring for my C.A.M.P.

My boyfriend and I thought....why didn't they do this in ESO? I would love to earn points towards buying crown store exclusive housing or costumes items. That would make some repeatable quests really worth the effort in the end being able to buy things for my housing that I can't get through furnishing plans.

I would have no idea how they would implement it and amount but that is one thing I really like from Fallout 76.

Just a thought. Maybe someone from ZOS would hear me out on this.

First of, Bethesda Games Studios=/=Zenimax Online Studios. (Though both are under Zenimax Media Inc). Also if they would have done that it would have been ages ago. A LOT of Free to play MMOs for example work in similar ways. One similar way for example is how Star Trek Online does it. They got 2 Currencies, one is bought with real money and the other is farmed in game but limited to a certain amount each day per character(making people want alts). Both currencies are needed for things in the game, but if you are a strictly free to play player you can trade the free in game currency for the real money currency from a trading menu in the game. 100% legal and used by all players in a completely safe environment with no possible way of getting scammed.

I did like that way of doing it in STO but difference is that you have to use the real life currency to buy the end game "gear" in terms of your ships. So obviously if nobody paid real money it would all fall apart but as long as some do and trade with the free to play people it works. That said, ESO is all cosmetic, so the need for a system like this isn't really there. With daily log in rewards and more and more consistent events there are more things then ever to get you free stuff. However I would agree that they should increase the events and make it so you can buy more with the tickets than just the feathers. Obviously its a concept they just started trying out but I think that is something they can expand on to give people more of a reason to play. As long as they make the dailies work better and more fun. STOP THE 20H COOLDOWN BS AND GIVE US DAILY RESETS FOR EVERYTHING FFS.

Or would it open up more opportunity to get money by increasing the traffic to the crown store/furnishing store?

      Manipulation.

Wildstar did the same, with omnibits. I liked the system myself, but can you expect a company to destroy a revenue stream like that? It would not be an easy decision!

they did that with the gifting system.

and there are way too many things that should be added, and we don't even have an answer on why they don't

Since they give 1500 crowns a month with the sub, I dont see them offering something like this for ESO.

In fact, if your a somewhat regular shopper of the crown store, the sub pays for itself.

While I generally like the idea of premium currency being earnable in game in general, I fear it could easily lead to even more focus on micro transactions as they then can justify basically anything by "but you can also earn it by playing." ESO already has a questionable amount of micro transactions for a buy to play game with paid DLC every few months and a additional subscription model.

I mean this month they gave me Murkmire for free so I am not complaining about the daily reward system.

also I get a whole bunch of free crates all the time.

On a game I played, they had tokens you could get from daily quests, and some items of the store were available for purchase with these token. Fortunately, they were the most useful items of the shop.

Agreed. People will still rip on Zenimax.

That will be the overwhelming theme in this post. :(
