I feel a skill line is the most they could get away with, a dabble into necromancy (like how altmer culture will study it only not to be caught out by it) could make sense 😊
And I remember Abnur Tharn told my Warden, 'we'll make a Necromancer of you yet' so a skill line would also make that possible lol

Yeah a necromancy line is still possible at the very least if not a whole class. You can make arguments for both sides and they both have merit. At the end of the day if it has at least a small amount of probability it would work. What happens if you walk around in other elder scrolls games with an undead summon? Not really much. Maybe a "good day!". So ruling necromancy out as a possible skill line is foolish.

As I said, necromancy as a skill line is possible but I feel as a class would be lore breaking to story eso presents. Nothing foolish in this assumption given with how the eso story works & how alike it would be to the sorc class.
In relation to other elder scrolls games, you are spot on although in Skyrim it is frowned upon by quite a few npcs but alas you are The Dragonborn & nobody wants to argue with you
I did really like your “mechanic” class you mentioned earlier though, I could see that working! See it as an artificer where the Stam morphs would be mechanical & the mag morphs would be alchemical

Why would she wear something like that? You gotta be protected by armor! I mean at the very least she would be cold.
That chest armor is actually super close to the Fang Lair chest armor for females. So thats something.
For me personally, I'd like a necromancer class to be a magic/disease damage tree, a self healing/befouling tree, and a tree for summoning skellys and undead. If the water magic could be worked into the first tree, id be cool with it, but just as long as my necromancer gets a few disease dots and direct damage too.
Agreed, for the same reasons I usually dislike any "new class" ideas.themaddaedra wrote: »I very highly doubt that i want ZOS to make another class lol, can definitely live without it.

This *** needs to stop. If we get a necro class this game is dead.
Yep, all TES games have had necromancy options for the player, but they’ve been a small part of the Conjuration tree and I think that’s a better fit for a new class: Conjurer. One skill line for necromancy, one for flame and frost atronachs (maybe wind atronach as the ult?), and a third for bound weapons.ESO_Nightingale wrote: »AlboMalefica wrote: »What if instead of another class, it was a Skill line and Sets like with Summerset. I know sorcs already have a skill line that dabbles in this, but they only have daedra summoning covered. There’s a lot of conjuration abilities left to cover, with more than enough thematic variance for multiple skill lines. This way necromancy builds are possible, but the class can also be used as an atronach build or a battle Mage, both of which are TES staples.
