The Wrothgar event was earlier in the year, don't recall the exact dates but it was immediately after Midyear Mayhem...

I don't see the issue. Just don't use the group tool and go with friends or guild if you don't want to pug dungeons. And you can even earn the tickets in normal version.

From ZOS notes:

Undaunted Celebration Event: November 29 – December 5

To earn Event Tickets during the Undaunted Celebration Event, you must complete a dungeon (Normal or Veteran). You will receive three Event Tickets from the final boss of the first dungeon you complete in addition to the normal rewards. You don’t have to be in a random dungeon LFG group to earn your Event Tickets!

I already got 20 tickets from CWC so I just need to log in buy a feather and log back out and wait for the last event

@Altaire Wrothgar just had it's anniversary event. Zos is working to bring attention to various areas.

Besides, CWC went just fine I did not experience any lag and got my stuff done easily.

The bigger issue with the Undaunted event is the queue not working properly, that it keeps saying someone declined the invite even if you are queuing with a full group. To the best of my knowledge Zos has ignored this bug even though it has been around for more than a year.

If you do not run with a group that can handle vet dungeons easily just queue for normal dungeons. The ticket reward is the same.

EDIT, if you are DPS then form your own group to start with. It does not take much effort. I do it all the time.

Just don't use group finder if you're not queuing as DPS (run with a premade). If you are queuing as DPS, you can easily solo all non-DLC dungeons (even vet). Your teammates don't matter.

Same.. Planned to skip the undaunted event altogether so already got two feathers and 12 tickets. Will just join for a few days of the last event.

This is an bonus, last time it had to be an random dungeon so the dungeon finder broke down totally the first day.
It works for both normal and veteran ones, remember healing vet darkshade 2 on my sorcerer.

But if its any dungeon you can just do an easy normal.

Just solo Fungal Grotto on normal... No need to deal with pugs.

Since that list lacks BC 1 and Spindleclutch 1, I presume it's meant to be for vet mode?

Forgot to mention BC1, pretty easy too. Have no idea about Spindleclutch - I'm arachnophobic and had too much oh,no-moments in FG2

Good thing I didn't think cwc was bad then. Other than bad boss drops I had no issues. A bit time consuming but I did it with three characters still and no issue.

Every dungeon you unlock before level 20 is quite easy also. I'm leveling a few characters and just stopped after I hit level 10 so I can use them for the event.

I do wish DLC dungeons were made optional in the group finder however. That's why I never bother using group finder with my level 50 characters.

I am kind of dreading it .. .

Only did one dungeon early on with another player and they didnt like the fact that I was a complete newby with no experience of MMO's or the chat system. This was after I told them at the beginning I didn't have any experience

I just kind of followed them around and helped kill whatever but at the end they said I should get more experience (not in a nice way ) before trying one again.

Now I know I am not the best at combat and frankly that has put me off ever doing a group one again - BUT
I need those tickets

I would say 99% of the time people will be helpful, and for first time runs people are willing to wait if you need to do the quests. Yesterday during one of the undaunted runs in Fungal Grotto, a tank was new. He struggled like crazy to point my character ended up getting aggro on the bosses constantly. Person said in chat "doing great tank". After he said he was new, we all helped him out and gave pointers.

In dungeons I had only one bad experience with a person but that was a DLC dungeon (avoid those unless you have a guild that is willing to help out). People will need to realize there will be many new people to dungeons during the event.

I don't see what the problem will be, just do your normal dungeon for the ticket and whether you're with a beginner or not won't make much of a difference.

Step 1. Use group finder to find a group.
Step 2. When the group is formed & you travel into the dungeon put in chat "travel to fungal 1"
Step 3. Finish fungal 1 in 5 mins & leave group with your 3 shiny new tickets.

Shall be fun, in a hilarious fun way. Pugs are often ranging from frustration to just laughing one's legs off when I'm going as healer and see those 2 "DD"s working for 20 min on every boss in easy non-DLC dungeons. At least they won't die when there's a good tank.
