Give us a feature to deny someone from being able to Resurrect in pvp after we kill them. A 1-2 second animation and if completed they need to respawn at a keep. Now solo players or small groups can actually make an impact if we "stake" players off the zerg's.

Without this feature zergs always win.

I enjoy all the lore of this game. Its Cryodill which has been neglected for years which id like to change for the better. "Staking" someone is a feature in Guild WARS 2 which i believe should be in this game. It would work really well.

Yeah we need a "banish soul" mechanic to prevent enemy resurrection. It could look exactly the same as the resurrection animation and also consume a soul gem. IMO it would have to be at least as long as resurrection though to be fair.

This would backfire SO hard on smallman v zerg. Not to mention how absolutely silly it is to stop a player from... you know playing... is a bit silly. Spirit of Frozen soil was a staple in GW1 pvp because it stopped resing which was fine for the types of gamemodes in the battlegrounds of that game but it had counterplay in that you could kill the spirit and be able to res again. This has no counter and just stops someone from playing which is absolutely silly. Gonna shoot this idea down hard.

    The idea has potential.

BUT, think about the most recent patch ... where the ZOS PvP Team is trying to get players into battle quicker (e.g. keep recall stones, new outposts, etc.).

I don't see this as high on their "to do" list.

This will hurt small scale more than zergs.

Interrupt the rezzers and burn the rez camp, and you make them rez at a keep.

Fake news, if you small scale and die you're dead, nobody will be able to rez you anyway. This change would mostly affect zergs. ZOS should add a rez cooldown so that you can only be rezzed every 20 seconds or so. It's about time to nerf zergs and give other play styles some love...
